Perfect solution for very small applications
This company has been nothing but sweet and accommodating with me, I owe them a long overdue review! I needed a tiny pump to bubble the water dishes in my hermit crab habitat, plastic containers about 7" x 6" x 3" deep (I fill them to a depth of about 2"), without splashing the glass or substrate around the dishes. My other requirement was that the pump be as quiet as possible. The first pump I ordered didn't work. It ran for about 20 minutes and then turned itself off. I let it cool and tried again, same problem. The company had already proactively sent me an email asking for feedback on their product, so I responded with the problem. They asked me to return it directly to them in China instead of through Amazon so they could evaluate the problem. Well, I was in a hurry so I started the Amazon return process and meanwhile ordered a second pump. Same issue. Since I had not yet shipped the first return, I contacted the company and this time I followed instructions to return BOTH pumps to China. They were REALLY concerned with receiving the defective pumps back so they could evaluate the problem. I thought the process would take a while, so I was surprised when I received a new (third) pump immediately! Both defective pumps were also immediately refunded through Amazon, and the day after I emailed the receipt for shipping to China I received an Amazon credit. The third pump works brilliantly. It suction cups to the side of our 65 gallon tank, and is virtually silent (we had it hooked to a timer which made more noise than the pump!). The airstone makes very tiny bubbles, and when I attached an inexpensive combination splitter/flow control valve, I could control the rate so that there is no splash outside the water dishes. The pump came with one stone and I needed a second for my second water dish. I tried several different stones and none of them made bubbles as small as the original (even with a low flow rate, larger bubbles popped and splashed). I contacted the company asking if I could purchase airstones separately; they're not available for purchase, but they kindly sent me some free of charge. The tube that comes with the pump is translucent, soft and flexible. It's a little short but I'm running it a pretty long distance through a 65g tank, so I'm sure it would work fine for small fish tanks. I bought a second clear tube at a local pet store for my second water dish, but it's not as flexible as the one that came with this pump.We ran the pump for about a month with a single tube/stone in one water dish, connected to a timer so that it ran for 30 minute intervals several times per day. Therefore I can't speak to how it would behave if running continuously 24/7, but I did test it by leaving it running for several hours straight with no problems. We've had it disconnected for a while since we started remodeling and had to keep moving the tank and unplugging it, so I delayed my review hoping to have the full set up done, but I'll just update once we have it all going again. To sum up, if you need a very small, quiet pump that isn't overkill for a very small set-up (like a betta, goldfish, or my water dishes), this pump is a great solution.

Small and capable for mini tanks
I got tired of Tetra pumps petering out after a month or two of use, but was nervous about relying on a small-output pump like this alone to run both the foam filter and the air stone in my daughter's 2-gallon tank. Then I got the idea to run two of these pumps into the same gang valve, and adjusted the flow to the air stone down to a steady trickle of tiny bubbles and the rest of the pressure to bubble through the filter's Venturi tube. Two months later, it's still working great. In a larger tank, I'd only use this for one small air stone, but 2 of them are handling the 2-gallon tank just fine for the 3 small tetras my daughter calls pets. They run very quietly (although sometimes cause some chatter in the check valves), and the suction cup attachment keeps them on the back side of the tank and frees up shelf space previously occupied by a Tetra brand pump housing.

So far, the most silent llittle pump ever
Got this in yesterday and so far, I am very happy with the air pump. I have one of those eco-orb round aquariums and the pump for that had started making noises if it touched anything. I snipped off the end of the existing hose and attached it to the new pump and was able to easily mount it on the side of the acrylic aquarium.

Love it!
This fabulous little pump does exactly what I need it to. It's tiny, and it truly is nearly silent. I also really like that it sticks to the side of the tank. I didn't use the airstone because I'm using it to power a sponge filter, but it looks to be good quality. I plan on buying several more as they are much quieter than the whisper air pumps I have been using, and take up less space since they can mount directly to the tank. Also it kind of looks like a little stingray so instead of being intrusive it looks like part of the decor, which I appreciate.

Great pump; near silent, excellent design.
I've owned a few air pumps throughout the years, and this one is in a league of its own. For all the others I've owned, I've had to muffle with towels to shut them up. This one is almost dead silent; it's really incredible. I especially like that you can suction cup the actual pump to the back of the tank; the little ball airstone is also nice.I'm not using this pump to aerate my tank, rather to create water circulation/agitation behind my 3D background to prevent stagnation. It creates the perfect amount of bubbles and can be hidden out of view.

Potential for a great product
Could be such a great product. I originally purchased one for a small betta setup. The pump worked perfectly well at first but died after a couple of weeks. The customer service dept was great- they sent me a replacement. However over a period of a few months the flow became almost non existent. Have tried cleaning hose, attachments, and even installed a check valve. The only temporary solution is to bend the power cord but this only solves the problem for a few hours at most. This leads me to believe it is a problem with the power conversion as another reviewer mentioned previously.Again some really great things about this pump:UnobtrusiveStrong suction cup for tank mountingExtremely quiteIt would be the best pump on the market for gentle aeration or to power a small betta bowl filter....if only it worked :-/

Two tries and two failures
Failed right away - I tried two of these 1st one ran about 1/2 hour then quit - the second ran longer about 10 hours the stopped. It seems like a great product - quiet - small but...***** UPDATE *******Okay I was contacted by this company's excellent customer service: They replaced both units and now both are working perfectly. I must commend this vendor on being so diligent and concerned with customer satisfaction! More companies should follow their lead and stand behind the products they sell with such vigor - Kudos Hpumps you are the best
