Sharp, incisive, delightful stories, told as only Barry Gifford can. Anyone who can include the Disciples of Festus House for the Pitiful, the Blood of our Savior Park, and Our Lady of Insufferable Insolence has got my vote for entertainment, amusement, and bafflement. If you don't know Roy already, you will be glad you made his acquaintance in these short, short stories about him, his family, and friends. A winner all the way!
