Walk Like a Man

First and foremost, I waited almost a year to get this fun childhood-favorit movie simply because of ignorant people saying it was a bad copy and not the original.Well, here's some education for this folks, all old movies from the early 90s and older get a little grainy when they are digitalize. All of them. Some are better than others but you are not going to get a clean crisp vision. And you'll pretty much not going to get wide screen unless the movie is stretched, which I hate, so this movie is the original.I have bought many new movies that were from the 80s straight from the stores, and the more special effects they have, the more grainy it is, but even without special effects, old movies are grainy. End of story about that.The movie was great, just how I remembered it as a kid. I'm happy I took a chance with this.

Plays good

It's one of my favorite oldies. Was happy to finally find it on Amazon at a great price. However, as a reminder for those who, like me, didn't remember... there is a lot of profanity. So if you're an older parent/grandparent wanting to share some of your favorites with the kiddos... you might want to rewatch yourself first. Lol Great movie still!

I loved this movie growing up. I had it recorded on multiple VHS tapes but could never find this on modern media.The disc came in the mail I was nervous because the box art was obviously not printed via MGM neither was the art on the disc.But the entire movie played just fine and that’s all I care about. Curious to see what other obscure movies this seller has because there are many I want!

This is a totally awesome movie not because of awesome special effects, not because it is particularly well written, not because it is at all believable because trust me it's not very realistic at all. The Walk Like A Man works because, it is extremely funny and it has an awesome message. I am very disabled and this movie shows why it is ok to be different. The movie shows how sometimes what people see as different is in many ways better than what most people call "normal". For all Walk Like A Man Lacks in traditional movie POP and FIZZ it makes up for in its message of heart. The movie is more slap stick comedy than serious. If you want a more serious Boy Raised by Wolves Tale I would suggest LUCAN. This is a movie to watch if you still have the heart of child like innocence and you are feeling down and just wanting to feel good afterwards. This is not the movie for those who want something deep, meaningful and spiritual. Walk Like A Man is an hour or so of weird fun with an awesome message at the end. I brought a copy of Walk Like A Man from Amazon.COM on DVD and at 46 I still enjoy watching. OyVey who knows if I will ever grow up AND LOVING IT!

My favorite comedy of all time. Extremely cheesy but I don’t care, I laugh all the way through it.

I love the innocence of the wolf-raised man, and the fact that his mother - who was nuts - accepted him.The woman who is training Bobo is very patient with him and with his "crazy" mother. There is a message, suggestion, that the older brother is crazy, and by the end of the movie, he is. The bad guys get what they deserve, which is as it should be.

Great movie- loved to watch as kid! My complaint though is for this MGM Limited Edition, you would expect they would take more time to make this a better dvd release. There aren't any episode/tracks (they just jump in something like 10 minute intervals), and the quality is like from a VHS tape. Forget also about any special features- commentary or notes etc. about the movie. If this dvd was under $10, I wouldn't be complaining, but to pay $17 for a dvd of a movie from the 80s, is a bit too much..glad to have it, but MGM has to work on their releases..

I saw this film many years ago and loved it, so when I saw it advertised on DVD I bought a copy. I expected it to not be funny now, as so often films that we saw years ago and thought were funny are not anymore.But this film is as funny now as it was all those years ago. I watched it with my grandchildren and they too were laughing all the way through.Highly recommended and Well worth buying

This is one of my favorite movies that I watched all the time as a kid. If you know Howie Mandel as a germaphobe, it's safe to say he wasn't yet a germaphobe in this movie lolIt is SO FUNNY! My kids watched it with me and also thought it was hilarious. Howie is a very good actor.
