Obviously if you see this then you're a smart person who chose to read the comments (good job). This is definitely not the BEST quality wooden shoe rack out there. It is actually quite the opposite. The wood is extremely cheap. With too much pressure or tug it will definitely fall apart or break. But hey, you get what you paid for.Out of the box, it comes with just a picture of how to "kinda" assemble it. The pieces didn't fit easily together, you do have to do some tugging and adjusting but it's not hard at all to do. Just screw it in with any ordinary screwdriver and it'll puncture it. It also comes with 2 additional pieces of wood but they don't show on the picture instructions so I just added them under the top and bottom shelf for support. I still give this 5 out of 5 stars because even though it's flawed, I knew that purchasing it since I read the comments. It's not perfect but for the price I paid it was easy enough to figure out and do myself. It also helps when you have a dog cheerleader there by your side giving you support.

It definitely does the job, but it's made cheap. It was difficult to assemble because the wood kept cracking trying to put the screws in. Some of the wood was not even so it made it difficult to put together too. Overall, it works and looks pretty good. I keep all my young son's shoes in there and theres plenty of room. It's a good size as well. If this product lasts a while and eventually breaks I'll probably buy this same one just because the price is pretty good.

I was not expecting too much out of this order - but I was still disappointed. I have seen some cheap junk from Amazon and I understand that when you are not paying much you shouldn't expect much but this one really takes the cake. The packing was horrid - it was half opened when it arrived. My wife opened the package and said 'hmm, this doesn't look as sturdy as the one we have" (we already have one virtually identical - but way better quality). What an understatement. One of the four upright pieces had wood splitting between the annular rings in 2 different places. Another of the upright pieces consisted of about 10 inches of wood, about one inch of knot, and about 8 inches of wood. Not suprisingly, the huge knot caused the overall piece to veer about 10 degrees. Returning items is such a pain that we just decided to keep it. I have glued the split piece so that will be fine and when the other piece breaks at the knot I will repair that also.There were no instructions with the product. Normally that wouldn't be a problem for such a simple item but there were 2 pieces of wood included in the box and we have no idea where they are supposed to go.I would obviously not recommend that anyone purchase one of these. I hope whoever produces these goes bankrupt. I know that I should return this and Amazon should be more selective in who they deal with but I hope my review discourages others from buying junk and keeping this vendor afloat.

It is exactly what I was expecting for. Even tho it’s a cheap product, it works perfectly. I have a small unit and this is just the perfect size for it, my shoes are #9 and it can accommodate 3 pairs in each space. If you don’t have kids or pets, it’s perfect.

Very brittle and light weight. It's definitely cheap. I think it's way to expensive for the poor quality and durability. It does it's job if you need something cheap. The wood is very flaky and it breaks easily when put together with the screws it came with. Unfortunately, this is the only one I could find that fits the measurements that I need. I'm not sure how long it will last.

Easy to assemble. Made very cheap. I almost broke it a few times just trying to assemble it. The wood tries to split easily when using the screws. I felt like I was putting together furniture made of popsicle sticks, but for the cheap pricing it "could" be worth it depending on what you use it for. I would've rather purchased the product in a store and have purchased similar products in the store just as cheap that are better quality.

Plenty of room for 9 pairs of sneakers and boots. Not the most stable shoe rack but for $19 it holds my items and looks nice in my closet. Does what I wanted it to do. Assembled in a few minutes.

I read the reviews on this and they weren’t very good but I decided to try it myself. I’m so glad I did because I don’t know what the bad reviews were for because this rack is awesome! I have it at my front door for our shoes and it’s exactly what I needed! It was semi easy to put together the parts didn’t all fit perfectly together but a little sanding fixed that. I love it!

Nice product but can’t get 3 pairs of shoes side by side, only room for 2 1/2?

Purchased this as I thought it was a reasonable price. I guess you get what you pay for (even though it's not that cheap). Put it together and picked it up and immediately broke a slat. Also looks really cheap.

Fine for the price, the wood is really flimsy and even splinters. Keeping it because it will work for the short term.

Very cheap and flimsy. Had to assemble myself. Cheap wood and not very stable. Hard to recommend.

My son has his good shoes on the 2 racks that we bought.
