Amazing on FDE or matte
Brings out the warmth and tonal dimension to desert diaspora muted shades. Desert tan, coyote etc.. They should sell it in larger quantity 16oz and 30oz ideally.

Great Non-Toxic CLP
Easy to work with and cleans / preserves very well. I use a heat gun on my gun parts to get them warm and then the lube wicks everywhere easily. After pulling my guns out which were cases for over a year, they were all in the same condition as the day I cleaned them. Unlike frog line which gums ip over time, this CLP stays slightly oily, and also sweats out of the metal during shooting as the parts heat up. Love it.

Works and smells like bubble gum
It always does the job even after a hundred rounds. I'm disappointed I can't find grizzly products anymore

Use on S&W 686+ Revolver, with Pachmayr Compac Professional (03272) Grips
I first read about this product on thegunzone.com in a good article comparing CLPs. The Grizzly is non-toxic, easy to use, and effective. Oddly enough, it smells pretty good -- like mint bubblegum.Grizzly seems kind of expensive until you realize how far it goes with each application, and how slick it is. Shake the bottle before each use, and store it inside with the cap on. It's a gel.You can put small dabs of the thick gel in various places all over the gun, then just quickly rub it around with a cotton patch. Wipe off the excess with a second patch if you need to; a little of this stuff goes along way. I also use a cotton swab to get into the nooks and crannies. If the gun is severely fouled, you might need to bring out the Hoppe's 9 solvent to clean. But then lubricate and protect with the Grizzly instead of oil. The Grizzly goes on smoothly, and leaves a nice silky finish on the steel. It's not greasy, oily, or slippery though. Very easy to use and control. It gently cleans up my Pachmayr rubber grips, which I love, also.I recommend the Grizzly with five stars. Thank you.

CLP Without the Headaches
This is a great product, if you are willing to pay extra for Non-ToxicFunctionality: I can't say that it works significantly better or worse than any other CLP. It works fine. I clean my firearms regularly and promptly. I am not a benchrest shooter by any stretch of imagination, but I find that most of my firearms can be maintained indefinitely using this product alone.Price: It costs more than I would like it to, but it provides a benefit that its lower priced competitors do not. It doesn't give me headaches. I have been dealing with chemical sensitivities lately, and this stuff just doesn't trigger me the same way as more toxic formulas. I'll pay extra for non-toxic any day, that's my choice.Additional Note #1: I feel like the smell of this stuff deserves a fair warning. You think Ballistol is pungent? Grizzly lube is practically IcyHot. Think eye-wateringly strong menthol and mint. If it were a stick of gum, I would call it refreshing. As a CLP, I'll call it bizarre. If you were raised on hoppes and cosmoline you may not ever be able to get over this aspect of the product. If you don't mind your piece smelling like "winter mint", you will probably get used to it. I'm getting into it.Additional Note #2: I live in a cold climate and often have to apply it a solid paste, which is not ideal. When it is truly freezing, I typically substitute a thinner preparation such as Ballistol.

Works, smells good, manly aroma therapy.
Has a rather pleasing smell to it and over all goes on nicely. Similar orange hue and smell to Gun-Ease, but the 4fl oz bottle and its nozzle makes it much easier to get it places, while gun ease pots need to be warmed up with the fingers and then smeared around the gun like its finger paint. As a pistol instructor and marksman I like to dip my finger into any CLP to see what it feels like on the fingers and skin, because while you're shooting your pistol is going to be throw spacks of that junk out as it recoils (depending on just how heavy you lube up the ole bang stick). Grizzly lube seems to stick to the gun better and has a thicker appearance than others, and lasts longer than gun-ease does. One day I shot about 300 rounds, and instead of having to take out my little pot of gun ease and smear my finger on a smoking hot gun barrel, i just plopped a dollop of Grizzly on it and off I went shooting again. Plus its non-toxic, so you can be an idiot like me and use your teeth to twist the nozzle and never have to put your gun down... except, yknow, you can also just set it down and do it the easy way.

Good lube
This is a pretty good CLP, it cleans ok but I think it works better as a lube than anything. Grizzly lube has a much better smell than traditional lubes which is becoming more of an industry norm. I love thick goopy lubes that stay where they are put. Direct impingement guns such as AR15's tend to blow lube off of bolt carrier groups and out of the upper reciever. This does not happen with grizzly lube. I put about 200 rounds through a specific ar15 and it was just as lubed up as when it was applied. This lube does "melt into" whatever it is applied to as long as the parts are room temp or warmer. But obviously not thin enough to run off. This lube also seems to store pretty well I left a gun lubed with this in the safe for about a month and there was no evaporation of lubrication. I usually leave grizzly lube in my range bag as a do everything lube. And it carries the job pretty well knowing that it is thick it will not seap out as badly and leak all over my other things I bring and so far it has not leaked at all. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because like most CLP'S it does not clean to well, other than that grizzly lube is a awesome product
