The concert double pack “Def Leppard: From London To Vegas” combines the two spectacular concert films “Hysteria At The O2” and “Hits Vegas, Live At Planet Hollywood”. The first one was recorded at the O2 Stadium on the occasion of their anniversary tour “Hysteria” in their hometown of London in 2018. It includes several of their biggest hits, including from the album “Hysteria” of the same name, which has won ten times platinum. Half a year later, Def Leppard was officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. Directly after the celebration, the second concert recording was recorded at the Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood. It combines a 28-song live set that includes not only the band's classics. Instead, the five musicians also play unknown songs such as “Too Late For Love”, “Billy's Got A Gun”, “Slang” or “Promises”. Set against a gigantic backdrop, the band knows how to use their stage presence not only on powerful songs, but also on rare acoustic versions. To this end, the US recording includes a behind-the-scenes bonus slip, while the London concert material has been expanded to include the mini-documentary “Hysteria: Then And Now”. For the limited DVD/Blu-ray Disc boxes “From London To Vegas”, which will be released including the CD recordings, two boxes will be released exclusively for “Hysteria At The O2”. In addition, Def Leppard release all live versions of the original “Hysteria” album on a limited edition Chrystal Clear double vinyl.

Superb Box-set
Def Leppard has kept me highly entertained this year with the release of the Early Years box-set. When they announced they were going to be releasing a double live album box-set not long after, I think I was in Leppard Heaven. Unfortunately, the release date was pushed back a few months and it took a while to get here. But now that it has, I am very impressed. This new box-set titled, London To Vegas is a double concert film package. The first bluray disc is from the band's Hysteria anniversary UK tour. The show is from their London show that took place at the o2 Arena on December, 2018. The second concert disc is from the bands Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater, Planet Hollywood. Both shows are accompanied by two CDs each. Each disc is housed in a cardboard sleeve that sits in a nice presentable book. There's also a big forty page hardback book that features all the necessary information and some excellent pictures. The 10" outer box is very similar to the bands Early Years box in terms of presentation and sturdiness. No real complaints there.Naturally, the most important thing here is the audio quality and I can't see anyone having any complaints. This by far the best sounding Def Leppard live release. The Hysteria release is miles ahead of the Viva Hysteria! with the sound coming across much clearer, with the bass being more reeled in. The band sound like they're packing a fair wallop. I didn't notice any moments of audio distortions, pops and clicks from loudness like the Detroit show. It seems that London to Vegas has been treated with a bit more love than the bands previous efforts. The video quality is just as good as you can get really. The picture quality is very sharp. You can see every wrinkle, every string bent and all 500 of Collen's abs. Its a very clear looking picture but that shouldn't surprise anyone in this day and age. The band have never really had an ugly bluray release and even their later DVDs still look nice. Seeing these things live and then again on the big screen, it makes me appreciate the large amount of colour the band utilise live. There's great range in colours in everything from Phil's colourful Jackson guitars to the large screen backdrops and intense lasers, it all just looks excellent. It a very refreshing change from most heavy metal bands playing under a dark blue lights. Between the two concert blurays, the Vegas show is by far the best looking of the two. The London show looks good and just about as good as past releases but Vegas takes it that one step further with extra clarity etc. If there's one to pick first, it's definitely Vegas. If you're a Def Leppard fan, this is another purchase you simply shouldn't question. It's a fantastic well put together package that has been superbly produced and engineered. You'll get to enjoy the band in hi-definition and some nice CDs for late at night. What more could a fan want? Go on, pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent package, outstanding picture and sound
Always been a Def Leppard fan since my college days in the early 80's and now I'm a big movie fan and enjoy my movie room with big TV and surround sound. One thing I struggle with sometimes is finding concerts on bluray but when I do I usually snap them up, sometimes regardless of the band. However, Def Leppard have been pretty generous over the last few years with bluray concert discs and now we're treated to a 2 concert pack. Hysteria at the 02 and Hits in Vegas. The pack comes with 2 blurays and 4 music CDs (2 for each concert) and a nice bound book of pictures from the gigs.I jumped all over this because I was at the Wembley Arena concert in this tour but somewhat more exciting than that I was really really looking forward to watching Die Hard the Hunter live. I was not disappointed.I watched both the blurays in one evening. Picture and sound were fantastic on both. Both discs featured 5.1 DTS audio. The extras on both discs were enjoyable. The Vegas show was on a different level to the 02 one, more like theater than a gig. Bigger, better and brighter. The play list for Vegas was a real Def Leppard history lesson and made it worth the price alone for me.BUT..talking of price, the one think that was a lilttle frustrating was that you can buy Hysteria at the 02 bluray with 2 CDs for ÂŁ22.99 but you cannot buy the Vegas show on it's own. So you have to pay ÂŁ60 (at the time of writing) if you want the Vegas show. I wanted it because I needed Die Hard the Hunter. The other small annoyance with these box sets is they never fit in with your normal bluray collections. That's it..like Def Leppard, this probably should be on your wish list.

Hysteria never sounded so good live
I love Def Leppard so pre ordered this. Saw them in Manchester on this tour in December 2018 and they were fantastic. I am half was through the first Blu-ray. The sound is brilliant as always with these guys and the visual on this tour are excellent. They are so engaging and draw you in. I definitely recommend this box set. 2 Blu-ray or dvd (whichever’s your preference) and 4 cds of sheers brilliance. Def Leppard always deliver. I have seen clips of the Vegas show and looking forward to watching the whole thing. There is a a glossy book packed with photos from both shows with this set. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent Set!
I went to the O2 Arena gig included here and it was amazing, I am so glad it was filmed. The set is well worth the money. They could have done a longer documentary for the London date, it clocks in at around 11 minutes. The music speaks for itself but a well worth addition to any fans collection.
