Redington FIRST RUN Fishing Vest

Love this vest. It is light, stays out of the way, and has plenty of storage. I might like a couple more rings to clip on to, but otherwise I’d say it’s perfect.

This Redington vest works great for the warm summer weather. It has enough pockets for me for a day on the stream. I like the Redington name.

I bought this vest for my wife as she's never had a fly vest before and I had to carry everything. Upon receiving this vest I noticed the pockets were pretty small in comparison. Also two of the pockets zip in an L shape which I could see making it easier for fly boxes to fall out on the river. Overall I think the vest is fine and will be fine for her, but for myself it doesn't have big enough pockets to fit fly boxes or fit a fillet knife. Would only recommend as a backup or secondary vest to loan to someone.

Great vest. Sturdy, but light weight. Just the number of pockets which are well-placed and easy to get into.

This vest didn't fit well. I am 6' 3" and 265#. I ordered 2XL-3XL and it is way to big. It also is very short on the torso. I could have gotten it in L-XL. As per the vest itself it seems to be well constructed. Maybe after altering it will work.

If you are looking for a fishing jacket that is longer this isn't it. I still used it on my most recent trip and while it wasn't what I expected it was functional and did the job. Pockets were adequate and well sized. Most of the small tackle boxes fit without issue. It has the back pocket to carry you fish so you don't have to drag them around on a stringer.

Has plenty of room, lots of pockets. Seems to be well made. Its light weight.

I just received this vest and it fits perfect and holds all my fly fishing gear just as advertised.I love the light weight feel and the quality of the material.
