Per Bulova, the original Aerojet was launched in a promotion of the Boeing 707 in the early days of the Jet age.I love the maroon cross hairs in the gray dial. The open aperature allows the hacking (yes it does) Myota 82S0 to be viewed as it beats at 21,600. I like the box domed mineral crystal.Nicely finished and very comfortable.

I ordered this because I really like the Bulova company and the quality that goes into their timepieces. I prefer the automatic self-winding watches that rely on mechanical gears, with jewels to reduce friction, and no batteries to run down and change. So far this has been very accurate for me, keeping the right time within about 10 to 15 seconds per day.This particular watch is stainless steel and black with a quality leather watchband and a classic look. It radiates quality without appearing ostentatious. It is just what I need when I’m at work. I still like to have a watch on my wrist so I’m not pulling my phone out of my pocket whenever I need to check the time.The watch gears and movement can be viewed from the transparent backing, and there is a small round understated window on the face of the watch as well. I specifically purchased this style of Bulova watch because I wanted the classic Bulova tuning fork logo at the 12:00 position, which is not present universally on all Bulova watches.This watch makes a great gift for any executive types in the family or circle of friends, especially those persons that are hard to shop for. I also recommend obtaining a mechanical rotating watch winder for automatic watches, many kinds are available here on Amazon. This keeps the watch from running down if you don’t use it for a few days.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase, it is a good value for an elegant watch. Highly recommended.

I appreciate how light this watch is because I can type at my computer without my wrist getting tired and hurting from the weight of it. This is a great work-appropriate office watch with understated timeless elegance and a beautiful leather watch band that will not go out of style. The leather watch band is soft on the underside and doesn't feel ruff when it rubs up against your skin. I know Bulova isn't considered a luxury watch brand, but the feel and look of it are serving understated luxury within a reasonable price, which I really like. The crown is easy to deploy and put back into place, and having an automatic watch is nice because there is no need to replace a battery.

The media could not be loaded. Got on prime day for a great value. I have a few automatic watches but no dress watches. The accuracy is 1-2 seconds fast per 24 hours. Size could be slightly smaller since it is a dress watch, I also had to add an extra hole in the strap for my 6.5 inch wrists. The weight is light and unnoticeable, the watch only makes noise while the rotor spins. After sizing correctly, I don’t want to take it off. It was between this or the Bambino and I’m glad I picked this.

I own several Bulova's and this is by far my favorite. The size is perfect and the look is clean and classy. It took a couple of months for me to get the timing right because I don't own a timegrapher, so it was a manual tweek every few days against the NIST master clock. It now gains about 15 seconds a WEEK, which for an automatic that didn't cost thousands is excellent. I wish it had more reserve than 40 hours, but that really doesn't affect my opinion. Marvelous watch!

I'm loving this watch, I did replace the band with a better quality leather band. Love the way the crown is offset so it don't dig into your wrist.
