Fodor's Arizona & the Grand Canyon (Full-color Travel Guide) Paperback – November 10, 2015

I procrastinated for our Arizona trip. I had no idea what we were going to do other than go to the Grand Canyon and purchased this book to give me some ideas. I literally read this on our way to Arizona. I'm so glad I bought it because it gave me ideas on what to do, where to go, where to eat, and where to shop. If you've never been to Arizona/Grand Canyon/Sedona, this is a good little book to have. It also provides you with a fold out map of the state. As I was deciding where to go, I wrote the locations on the map so that I could come up with the best itinerary based on proximity to one another. The book saved my trip.

Foder's travel guides are the best and this book did not disappoint. I have ordered Foder's books/guides for Maui also. Very informative, up-to-date information and places. The includes map was wonderful and loved that at points of interest, there were also individual directions to the places included after the description. Helped tremendously so you don't have to randomly locate the route on a map or rely on a GPS (which can be spotty and not always reliable in the mountains of Arizona). No one should travel without this this guide if you are interested in the history and information of the places you will be visiting.

I purchased this as we were planning a trip to Arizona. The information in the book is ok but I found more information online and supplemented it with this book. Several places where we ate and tours that we took were not mentioned in the book. One of the restaurants that they recommended was one of the worst meals that we had on the trip. The pull-out map was helpful.

We have been to the GCNP several times and this book was STILL very helpful We finally got to visit the North Rim, very different from teh South Rim. Well worth the trip, and the book was instrumental in making that a great trip as there is very little available at the North Rim.

This was a gift. It wasn't returned to me so I expect it was just what my friends needed to plan their trip. My friends told me that they loved the guide and used it in planning their trip.

This book is filled with information to make your trip rewarding. It helps you plan your destinations and understand some of the history of the area. It is well-written and very organized. A must have for your trip!

Lots of facts and information that I'll be happy to have at my fingertips when I go on the road in March!

This is a beautiful book - full of great information, pictures, reviews, ideas. Well laid out, easy to follow with good maps and guidance. Used it every day during our trip to AZ - loved the info and loved our trip!

Es una buena guía pero un poco superficial en algunos aspectos. Por lo menos en la zona que a mi me interesa del Gran cañón y alrededores la encuentro poco detallada. La edición es buena y los gráficos también.

This book really helped my wife and I on a recent trip.
