Love the music
I saw a special on TV revolving around Leonard Cohen's music. Loved the arrangements so I purchased a CD. Love the songs and have it as part of my collection.

Wonderful tribute to a classic album
I have purchased quite a few Mojo compilations over the years and I would rate most as average, at best. This cd is the exception. Songs are very well done in a way that honors the greatness of the original versions. For lovers of Cohen’s first album this is a worthwhile purchase.

Leonard Cohen covered
Great album, not one of the covers will dip below a 3.75 out of 5, a very well put together album, I have suggested this album to fellow Leonard Cohen fans and some that were new to him, they all loved this album.

Classic material revamped.
It's hard to ruin Leonard Cohen songs, it seems. I'll still take the originals, but these covers are fun. Some pretty good, some ok. If you like Cohen you probably will find this interesting.. as I said, even a bad cover of a Leonard Cohen classic can't be too bad cause his words and melodies were so good to begin with - - heck, I should make an album of Leonard Cohen covers. ;)

A Good Find: Truly Amazing.
I don't know who mixed this c.d., who chose the artists for each song but its a treasure chest of rare, raw, really authentic and soulful musicians that are like best kept secrets in this age of "pop" where many of us want more than banality, whats marketed to us. Crazy interesting and refreshing because of that. Otherwise its a bit dark..but in a good way.
