Oceansouth Full Outboard Motor Engine Cover (Black, 50hp to 150hp)

I selected this item for the size range, draw string for drawing down motor cover, and plastic zipper no rust. Fits perfectly on a Mercury 90 horsepower outboard.

Prompt delivery. Seems fairly heavy duty. Fit my Yamaha 115 SHO very well. Just got it so not sure how long it’ll hold up. But pleased with initial purchase.

Very high quality material. Not the cheapest cover but you get what you pay for (usually). It is slightly bigger than my 50hp motor needs. I don’t care but size does matter in this case. Overall worth the money.

First and foremost.......this cover DEFINITELY fits our 2023 Mercury 4 Stroke 150. Just the regular 3.0, not the Seapro or Pro XS......although the size specs are probably similar. Fits with a little room to spare. Now, I say 2023 because we just bought a new Tracker Targa. I don't think Mercury actually provides a manufactured date on their engines. I believe the Pro XS was released in 2018 but that is about as much as I know when it comes to actual build years.The bottom, which fits around the prop, seems to have additional reinforcement. The zipper is industrial grade as well. If you have the engine propped up with a transom saver the zipper, which is located on the inside, will not zip all the way up. So you will have an opening unless you remove the bar.Other than that.......shipping was decent. Shipped from Coral Springs, Florida. Last year I could have drove out there having lived in Pompano Beach my entire life! But we are glad, really and truly glad, to have left that crime infested hotbox of So. Fla. We have to get almost everything shipped these days other than groceries. It;s called Mountain Living.There is another model of this cover from the same vendor. More of a custom fit maybe? But at 60 dollars more, and our incompetent Govt. allowing the COLA to fall well below the actual cost of living, us retirees have to make those tough decisions on every expenditure :)

I liked that the 50-150hp cover fit perfect with a little extra room on my 90hp Mercury Command Thrust motor. I did'nt like that I was'nt able to return my previous order [MA-075-6] 40-100hp which stated it would fit, because refund time ran out!

Fit great for the motor. Seems like the material is ok.

Works like a champ! Covers the entire outboard, including the prop, except for where the engine attaches to the transom. Well constructed and easy to install and remove.

If you want a cover that protects the whole unit and prop, this is it. Material is very thick and so far it’s holding up very well the last few months. Only thing that could be improved is to have a weep hole/screen mesh on very bottom for rain water to drain off from that gets collected/trapped from trim area opening.
