Bought this due to mask requirements. My fiance is forced to wear a mask 9 hours a day at work. Her ears were raw because of the mask straps. Having this has helped her so much, she no longer has severe discomfort due to wearing a mask. In fact, she says she doesn't mind wearing a mask at work anymore. Would definitely recommend to anybody who wears a mask for long periods of time. They are durable, and I feel it'll outlast the mask requirements.

Since the ear straps usually irritate my ears, these are a lifesaver! I feel much more comfortable with these holding my mask on. Plus, it feels more securely in place this way, yet it doesn't make it feel too tight across my face. As an immunocompromised person, I can see needing these indefinitely!

I guess my ears are more sensitive than most people's because as soon as we started wearing masks I've been looking for ways to connect the ear straps so they wrap around the back of my head. I've used rubber bands, velcro wire wraps, cut and sewn the straps to eliminate the loops, and other types of connectors.I had seen this type of ear saver connectors, but never tried them. When I saw these I immediately ordered some. They are as described, even thicker than I expected and yet still flexible. The hooks are low profile but do a good job allowing the ear loops to be held securely and able to be adjusted to fit your head.

I have what I can only assume is a normal adult woman's head. You have three size options, three little buttons to hook into. I used the largest setting.PROS:- They work.- The ear loops fit onto the strap very very securely.- They close the cheek gap.- The strap itself is not uncomfortable.CONS:- They tug on the tops of your ears.- The mask is now pressing down much too hard on my nose.- I don't think these would work at all on a larger head.

I ordered these to provide our service techs a little relief when they are working onsite at other businesses or in people's homes. For one of our guys, they are the perfect size to allow the elastic of the mask to wrap over the buttons. Unfortunately for another, the strap just isn't wide enough. His mask is stretched so tight across his face that it flattens his nose.It's a great product that seems to be well made, and we will continue to use them whenever we can. But for a larger man, we need something a bit wider.

So I have not tried these on my mask just yet. I used them to hold my oxygen tubing on. I was having difficulty keeping it on at night and was worried about this. I took this out and placed the oxygen tubing as I would the mask. It wrapped easily around the extender. It fits well and is comfortable. I have had not had an issue having it on the back of my head. I don't find it too stretchy but it is big enough that I do not really have to do that. I like the multiple buttons you can place it on. I have had no issue with it tightening or moving. I don't worry about it getting tangled in my hair. I love the different colors. I might use these at work for my patients with oxygen that can't leave it on because it does hold it pretty well and it is not bothersome to me.
