The 3rd pic is supposed to show that the size difference between the "universal" replacement for my Zebco reel. It is way too small and too short for the screw cap to even catch the threads on the reel shaft.

you can tell it is cheaper quality. unfortunately, it is not the right size for what I need, so I am returning.

So i dont know if maybe its just the rod im putting it into but when its inserted and the cap screwed onto the other side, it should, in theory, spin the reel freely. But the screw and cap only tighten as you try to spin it, making it too tight to turn. Instead of connecting to each other and allowing free spinning of the reel mechanism, it creates a nut&bolt situation and renders the reel unable to move. The more you turn, the tighter you tighten the reel handle to the reel. Theres no spinning. So unless i did it wrong, this doesn't work.

Waited more than a month to receive this item. Once it arrived the piece that attaches to the reel handel came broken. This has been the worst experience I have had with buy on Amazon.
