This works good for a small enclosed area like a walk-in closet or bathroom, other than that you need a big one which are MUCH more efficient for larger areas (but also upwards of $180 at time of this post).For comparison, the water shown collected in this unit took a full week, and is only about 24oz whereas the big 35 liter dehumidifier pulled that much moisture out of the air in just a couple of hours! The cons to a bigger unit is much louder, much bigger footprint, more expensive to run and to purchase.In conclusion, I think these little humidifiers are expensive for what they are, but they are all in currently in that $40 price range, and this works as well as any in that range. I guess they are better than nothing. Just wish they were about $15 cheaper. If you are going to purchase a dehumidifier of this size, then get one that is attractive for you. I think this one is nice looking and the blue light is subtle, and not overwhelming at all. Works perfect for the bathroom at night.

In fact, I just went into the bedroom to turn it on, only to find it had already been running. My rather stealthy desktop computer makes a comparable amount of noise.Ease of use. There's one button. While this may not have a large array of customizable options, it makes up for it with how smooth it is to setup. Plug it in, push the power button, and wait. Then remove the tray, dump, replace tray, and repeat.What I don't love:Honestly nothing so far. I'll update my review with any odd things that happen, but to this point it's been exactly what we expected. Just don't purchase it to dehumidify your 2400 square foot house.Would purchase again!

I am happy with the performance.

I live in a basement apartment. Lots of mold issues etc. Have lived here for 6 years and have not experienced such humidity in here. Lately my son ( he is 35) and I have been experiencing major sweats in the night where we have to change shirts several times. I began looking on line for answers. First I found a product that was an indoor humidity and temperature monitor and I bought it. I wanted to see what I was up against. Where was all the sweating coming from. I did a lot of processing of elimination, searching for a lead. This allowed me to see the humidity in each room. After recording several days, I was on line looking for my options and found this product, Lonove Dehumidifier. I read the write up, read the reviews and bought two with out hesitation. I have a very large dehumidifier which throws off lots of heat ,it pulls the humidity from the walls. This Lonove product pulls humidity from the air.I had been recording the humidity for almost two weeks, found humidity very high. So when these products came, we could not hook them up fast enough. First I live in an 932 sq foot 2 bedroom apt. I had to break down the room sizes so I looked on line and found a web link that let me do that. I wanted to make sure this product was going to do what I had hoped it would do but wanted to be right on my end with measurements.This was a pleasure of ease to hook up. It has a calming blue light glow in the night. It is so silent in its running, yet, when it pulled moisture, I could hear the water drip into the tank. I had to giggle, it was working, YEAH!.Well, after 24 hours in the picture I have posted, is both our products, side by side. Now the glass measuring cups show two different sizes, BUT they both reflect ½ cup of water pulled in a 24 hour period one in each room. Every once in a while in the night, you could smell a breath of fresh air coming from the product. It was refreshing. We set this up on Thursday November 5 at 3 pm. We let the units rest the next day, and rehooked them up Saturday afternoon. There is a visible water line in the container so it is still pulling.We have had some unusual humidity in our weather here in Virginia, I think there is a link and these little guys work best in a high humidity setting. A cold front is coming in so I will gauge the humidity between recording what I found, and the use of this product.I highly recommend this product, but make sure you read the directions, and make sure you get the right measurements for your room or you will be disappointed.

Amazon's product title, Amazon's product description, and manufacturer's product manual list 3 conflicting numbers for intended square feet (i.e. 220, 190, and 165 respectively). I emailed the customer service address included with the product who promptly clarified:"165 sq. ft is the most effective usable area we recommend; And 220 sq. ft is the largest usable area."They also provided a PDF copy of the manual which was appreciated. Regardless, I'm currently using the dehumidifier in a larger 392 sq. ft. studio apartment but I'm only looking for minimal effect as I know my plants appreciate some humidity. I'd probably get a second small quiet unit before I purchased a larger one if it was going to make more noise.

This is quiet and bot does the work!!! Love how easy it is and great it is to use. It also helps with the smells of the basement!

I kept it in my bathroom and it worked great. It’s quiet. I sometimes run it overnight with my bathroom door shut. It’s small, a little bit taller than my toothbrush. I placed it on the counter, not taking much space. Run it after shower, and it helps to get rid of the moist so less chance to build up mold and mildew.

very good compact and discreet product fits very well on my bedside table very easy to use and easy to clean very elegant design and most importantly it is very quiet in small spaces it works even better

A small dehumidifier, very cost-effective ~ Its appearance is like a sound, with a sense of design, the body is also very light, does not take up much space, and it can maintain efficient dehumidification no matter where it is!

Good size and doesnt take up too much space. Works immediately and well, my bedroom and hallway felt much better after only a couple hours!! Makes very quiet noise (you'll hardly even notice it) and has a soft blue light that isnt disturbing (it's actually quite relaxing) at night. Great gadget, couldnt believe how affordable it was for how well it works!! Total steal

The product looks great and fits the space I purchased it for. It is very compact and looks discrete. So far it is functioning well.
