I having been looking for this chalk for years. I should have known to check Amazon!!!. It’s the BEST for using when I’m sewing.

Are used this product to mark clothing for tailoring. Fair price-works well.

All the chalk pieces were broken.

Received the chalk mostly in tact which was great since it came in one of those padded envelopes. Only one piece was broken. I LOVE this chalk! It is the same stuff I use at work (I tailor formal military uniforms). It is wax based so it feels soft (rather than chalky/powdery like the stuff you use on blackboards) and doesn't come off on your fingers. It marks and stays on fabric really well and will come off in an instant with a steam iron. Definitely recommend. Only wish it came in more colors for use on lighter/white fabrics. Sharpen with a knife.

I prefer wax tailors chalk because it is easier to remove than a color chalk but stays on the fabric until you decide to remove. There were 10 white in package better would have been half white and half black.

Just what I needed. Unfortunately 3 of the 10 pieces came shattered. Needs more secure package when shipped.

My only question is-why hadn't I heard about this tailor chalk before now. It is now my favorite method for marking material while sewing. It washes off easily. Strongly recommend for novice to experienced sewer!
