It's waterproof-ish but it depends
This material was suggested by a nurse to use in inner construction of face masks. I was surprised it was so thin but it works as an additional fabric layer w/o bulk. I tested this material for its waterproof claim after I read reviews here that doubted it. I wrapped it over a glass, rubber banded it, made a slack pocket and poured a colored water in it. Left it overnight: it leaked but still held H2O in pocket. Its seal is more compromised upon washing. I washed it, & tested it again, a slow leak was evident. The "disposable" in description may mean temporary usage but it works for my purposes. It came folded & I would have preferred a roll but that is a easy fix...just roll it.

Not tall enough for ship's bow masks
I bought this to add to some ship's bow masks where the height of the pattern had been extended a little to provide more face coverage. The length of the roll size is perfect (20meters), but the height of the roll is only 7" (17.78cm) which is not indicated clearly in the item description. The fabric doesn't go the entire height of the mask pattern. If the the fabric were a width greater than 7" (17.78cm) and 20meters long I could cut the fabric the entire height of the mask.

It works.
We bought this because my boyfriend got hung up on the wording of what works for filtration with covid 19. I have been using iron on interfacing. I believe it works as well esp when you add another 2 or 3 layers of fabric & liner. Since I custom make our masks & one or two of us needs a larger fit I was disappointed that the width wasn't as big as I needed, should have measured. It worked out though. Now I sew this product in between my regular layers for all my b-friends masks. (We just use a couple of layers of interfacing sandwiched between tightly woven cotton) Do Not Iron the blue liner.

NOT what was expected
I would have given it a five star if there had been a comment about it not being in a roll. The whole description is misleading for the buyer. I thought I was purchasing a roll, when in fact it arrived in a medium envelope package. It weighted 1 pound and 6 ounces and that was for 20 meters. Not impressed at all, very much taken by surprise. I immediately went and purchase the same item in a roll, not from this company a competitor.

Perfect for mask interfacing
I have bought this product twice now. I make fitted masks and need about 16 inches per mask. I like the width of the product as there is very little waste. Water does bead up when I tested it out. Do NOT iron this onto the fabric. It is sewn on.... one piece on either side of the 2 parts that you are attaching. It weighs almost nothing and is very breathable for masks.

Works as it’s intended to when used correctly
Works as it’s intended to. I think some people are a bit confused. This is meant to be used as a filter. I use this for my face masks with filter pockets. Or layer is plenty to provide extra protection. If you put a drop of water on it the water will sit on top which is what you want it to do. Hope this clears up some confusion

Not what I was expecting!
Being made in the USA I had expected to have it measured in inches so read it that way. The description did say cm so it wasn't wrong just deceptive. It is too narrow for a good face mask without piecing in some way. It is waterproof though.

Real waterproof and breathable
The real stuff. Waterproof, durable and easy to cut and sew. I made a cup shape piece to put water on it. It held up just perfect. Did not get through at all, test passed after 15 minutes of holding the water, I’m sure it would of kept doing the job.
