Fake BakeTanning Mitt, original version (MITTM)

I'm only giving it two stars. I wanted to love this. The tanning mousse that I used, went right through the spongey fabric. I stopped halfway through, after realizing this and scrubbed my hands. It wouldn't budge. I took a floor scrubber and it still didn't work. Tried some medical gloves I had and put the mitt over them. Didn't work, much to my dismay. The mitt kept sliding around and off. So I just said, blank it, I'm just going to get through this whole application process as fast as I can, in the best way I can, and wash when I'm done. My hands have been stained for days, and I can't get about 25% of it off. Who has brown palms? Anyone?The funny thing is is that I used my small kitchen sprayer and sprayed down the mitt and every bit of the coloring in the mitt came right out. Not a trace was left.I would kindly recommend the company to add some sort of plastic or rubber layer between the two pieces of fabric, on both sides. Some of the tanner worked its way through to the top part of my hands as well. Maybe I should email them?Please heed this warning.

fake bake has become my favorite self-tanning option and this little mitten is essential to put it on! My other Brown mitten that had come with the original product was starting to pill after about five months of inconsistent usage. The fabric is the same for this pink one so I'm only expecting it to last about four to five months but it's worth it!

The mousse goes on smoothly with this mitt. Note that the Mitt has a tendency to turn while rubbing in tanning mousse.

Does not give too much of a orange color. When using, do not sleep in white sheets... Best if used after a night shower and having 8-10 hours before shower again.

Listen I didn’t buy this Mitten not even sure what one would buy such a mitten for, However since the OldLady clearly purchased this using my hard earned money and hasn’t returned it or started randomly complaining about some mitten THEN THE THING HAS TO BE FIVE STARS OR I WOULD OF HEARD COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT

So first off, this glove is amazing!!! And yes it leaves your hands brown. But, if you read the directions it clearly says USE APPLICATOR GLOVE PROVIDED UNDER THIS MITT ::smh:: your hands turning brown is yours own fault.. I always have a nice, even tan. Use a glove, and you'll be alright 😉

Not the same on that comes in the Fake Bake box, but it will work.

I liked it but still having a time with getting even

I ordered this mitt to use with Fake Bake products. It soaked right through, even though I did not apply that much product, and turned my hand brown. As you know, Fake Bake works fast, so it took a lot of scrubbing to get the brown color off my hands. I can recommend the XTan mitt, it does not soak through and has a nicer velvet feel, though it's poorer quality...

Good basic mitt and maybe my own fault for cheaping out but they are just a nightmare to keep on when rubbing the tan in. The mitt side is a good texture for rubbing in tan but just difficult to get a grip on to focus on even distribution

Completely useless as the plastic glove part is missing. No point to this mitt without it. Waste of money.

After such great reviews from friends I decided to give this a go, thought I'd found a bargain because of the price.I tried it and thought what a waste. It marks your clothes and really doesn't stay on.I borrowed some of my friends and what a difference. I now know why it's cheap. I think it's Fake.

Always use these mitts, they're brilliant.
