We have shopped all over for just the right fountain, and over the years, we have owned a few. All of them came from the big boy hardware stores. It helped that we could see it in person, touch it and see some of them setup and running. I will have to say, when my wife found this fountain online at Amazon I was sceptical. The price got me the most, when we purchased, the cost was close to $500. However I will say while the fountain is expensive, in my opinion, it is worth it.The unit arrived undamaged in a box surrounded by molded styrofoam. The only assembly was putting the pump in the bottom reservoir and putting the well top on the fixture, After that, hook up to the water tube to the pump and routing the power cords out the back in a provided cutout. There are two power cables that need to be routed, the LED light is already mounted in the bottom of the reservoir, but the pump has suction cups on it to keep it in place. The pump is powerful enough to provide water for the fountain, it has a selector on it, we turned ours to the halfway mark. During assembly time, the fountain is quite heavy, nd very sturdy. The colors while not vibrant are just right. You don't want it to be overpowering, but you do want it to draw your eye and this piece does it. With the double drop fountain design, the sound is spectacular.Since it is setup and running, I have noticed a few things. The LED light is just right for making part of the fountain visible from the well side. If you want people to see it, you may need walkway lights or a spot to provide extra illumination. During the day, I do not notice any bugs, not sure if it is by the design, but the water is almost hidden from view being in the well and the only time you see it, is as it drops from the top down and disappears into the well. I have found that I do not have to replace the water as often as other open air fountains, this could be due to the majority of the water basin being shaded by the top of the fountain.We are enjoying our fountain I hope you do too...

On my first review I stated the fountain came broken, also stated we didn't want to go through the return process and decided to fix it ourselves and never asked for a refund, but upon reading the review the seller reached out and refunded me the money anyways, no questions asked, and without asking us to return the fountain.Here is my original review:Beautiful fountain, but it arrived damaged, the little girl’s arm with the bucket came detached, and it had a crack on one of the bottom corners where it leaked. We didn’t want to go through the return process, husband reattached the broken piece, cut the bottom to be able to insert a bucket…. Good as new!

Unfortunately, It’s raining today. The rain doesn’t take away from the fountain. My husband bought this for me for Mother’s Day. It’s very nice holds a lot of water, so you don’t have to fill it every day. I have many figures in my yard, this one is on my deck to enjoy the sound of the water and see the light under the water.

Beautiful but arrived with a hole in the bottom.They did give a refund

This is a great addition to our garden. We connected a low voltage pump to it and now works with our Malibu light system. Very well made product.

This water fountain accentuates our front garden and wows passers by. Very nice except it was a bit pricey. Other than that, I would highly recommend this water fountain.
