Perfect for night runs! Bright and easy to use.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I snap it onto my running belt; the magnet is strong enough to hold through my belt's neoprene material, which is rather thick. It lights up the ground enough to avoid cracks (on the dimmer setting) and functions as an effective headlight for me on evening or night runs. It came with a strong charge... I have not had to put it on a charger yet after about an hour and a half "run" time.Update: After using it many times, I put it on a charger (just our of curiosity because it didn't really need a charge yet!). It charged up just fine and is even a little brighter now. Not only is it like wearing a headlight on my belt, I also feel safer. We have bears in our area and loads of dogs. Now I can see in the dark and feel more confident running at night. If I somehow loose this little guy, I'll be buying another one.

Small, Lightweight, Easy to attach
The first thing you notice about the light is truly how small it is. It's small enough to attach the laces of a sneaker; provided your shoe size is large enough. It can be clipped to the collar of a human (shirt) or animal. It can be attached to a shirt pocket or sleeve. My specific model (red and white) has 6 white LEDs and 3 red LEDs (see photo). The 4 modes are: high white, low white, red, strobe (red). Its much brighter than a smartphone flash, but significantly dimmer than many flashlights or headlamps. Its most useful in situations where you want light but do not want to use any real gear or serious piece of equipment. The light output also drops significantly after a half dozen minutes. If I do more testing I'll update this review with results. The outside is silicone with a rather cheap unfinished plastic enclosure inside; that houses the actual LED light. Fortunately the plastic enclosure is well hidden by the silicone sleeve so it does not become an eyesore. The downside is its design requires the charging port be hidden inside the silicone. To charge the light you need to completely remove it from the sleeve. This is a nuisance if you use the light enough to require frequent charging. You can reverse the light inside the sleeve as I did (shown in photo) and loose weather protection in exchange for easy access. However, I would rather it be designed with a flap to cover the charging port.

Super bright + easy to use and charge
I love this light. I use it for walking my dog to both increase visibility and so that my dog can see in front of her (i.e. I can make sure she's not eating cat poop). It's really easy to put it on her collar and take it off. The first time I used this on the brightest setting and I had to turn it down because it was attracting moths and my dog kept trying to eat them. I read in a few reviews that it was difficult to remove the light to charge from the rubber case, but I totally disagree. It easily comes out. Plus if that's really an issue for you then you can just turn it around the other way in the case so that the charging port is facing out, though it might get wet that way. All in all, great light and I have already recommended this to others with dogs.

Sturdy
I used this light for my dog. He was 13 and his eyesight was not that good. When I put this light under his neck (in a way that it did not go into his eyes) you could see the difference in him right away. Everything in front of him was lit up. Great light. And its rechargeable, no batteries and that keeps it lightweight.

Very Bright
I loved this when it arrived. It as very bright. I used it on my treat pouch while walking the dogs. The magnetic case was easy to use, stayed secure and the on off switch was easy to use. It comes with a charger...however, my light would NOT charge, even though all the parts looked fine. Great while it worked, great idea, too bad it only worked for a few weeks.

Best light for running/walking in the dark
Use this like with a elastic waist belt (search on Amazon) and you will have one of the best lights for running that you will have ever used. As others have pointed out, the magnet clip is very good and can be securely attached so that the light slants up or down on the belt as one prefers.Running with it configured this way, it doesn't create the tunnel vision that most headlamps do and you can see more hazards because having it lower will create shadows where headlamps tend to flatten the terrain. This is by far the best lamp I have ever used for running and is very handy for so many other purposes. An amazing value for this type of product.

Very Bright
This light is really bright. Much brighter than most other dog lights. I like that it is both red and white. Clips onto collar very easy. No batteries which is a plus. Charge lasted about two hours on a steady red light. Lots of compliments on night walks. So far so good. Thumbs up!

Great product for dogs with seeing problems
I have a blind and deaf older dog. She likes to explore using her extremely good sense of smell. This helps a lot. She can see blurred images and the light is wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone who's dog has difficulty seeing at night.
