Its not gold
I already have this exact same phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 - Verizon) in Gold and i love it, which is why we wanted this phone to be the same. This phone is the same model, etc. but its BLACK. I know the exterior color of a phone seems like a unimportant thing to quibble about but this is not the latest model or anything new and fancy like a fold phone, where color would be secondary. There is a huge number of phones out there to choose from and if i hadn't cared what color it was, i would have ordered one of those newer models instead. But we wanted GOLD, this listing says GOLD, and thats why we were willing to forego all the bells and whistles of newer models that we could have chosen instead. So yes, I'm disappointed and thats why i picked 3 stars in all the ratings.Other points: Shipping was super fast. The postman left it on our doorstep even though the package was very small and would have fit in our mailbox. No instructions included for the phone. Phone charger included was short cord and only 1 amp. Its "renewed" (refurbished) but i assume it would work ok. Not sure i want to keep it when i could easily get a newer version in the same boring black.

The best overall value made by Samsung to-date!
Good graphics, screen resolution, battery life and one of the few that has a SD card option. Photos are also good quality though cannot compare to the S-20 and up.

probably wouldnt reccomend...
i mean... it works which is nice, my old one was the same phone and the camera died on it and the screen was cracked so rather than replace those for what would cost more i figured refurbished would be good!welllll it was kinda dirty in the ports which is gross. and after using it for a week i noticed on the screen theres like things burned into it?? i cant make them out but theres definitely a word/name? at the top of the screen and a time at the bottom always just a little bit visable when the screen goes white. and like a d-pad from a mobile game??the bettery life is okay on it, but if you watch a lot of youtube or search things often on your phone then it definitely sucks up the power a lot faster, but i cant say any faster than my old one. it is a retired model so not surprising.

S7, Top Phone 5 Years Ago. Good today..
I have 2 MOTO e4's I've been using for years. The Main Phone was getting laggy due to inadequate space on the main drive.Moving to this phone has been a reasonably easy transition and it's really responsive compared to the phone I've been using.I didn't receive the SIM CARD tool but a sewing needle works just as well I guess. The Hatch was easy to open using that.

Arrived with a cracked screen! No way that they did not know it was cracked
I needed a quick replacement Samsung as my prior phone was at the end of its life. I got a phone that has a noticeably cracked screen. There is no way this was not seen by the seller. Battery life is not as good as it should be either. I would have returned it but needed at least a working phone for emergencies.

Not sure yet
I have purchased several refurbished phones through my carrier with no problems. I used the last one for 3 years. This S7 looked really great out of the box. My previous phone was lost at the time so Verizon put in a new sim card but after 2 hrs of trying, we could not get it to activate. The next day I found my previous phone (run over & smashed). But I was able to get my sim card from it so I tried using it to activate this new phone. Didn't work and I realized the old sim was likely deactivated. So I put the new sim card back in the new phone and BAM...it activated. It seems fine now except that I can't login to my Samsung account. I'm waiting to hear from the seller on that now. Will update this review later.

Great phone with poor battery life
I love this phone, but the battery life is poor, and replacing the battery (because the phone is water resistant and therefore sealed) is no easy process and costs about $80 to have it done professionally. Even getting it done professionally results in the phone no longer being guaranteed water resistant. I have no idea if the battery life is poor because the battery was old and not replaced when it was refurbished or simply because this model phone drains batteries quickly, but the poor battery life will cause me to choose a different phone in the future.
