Christmas Silhouettes: 9 Intermediate to Late Intermediate Carol Arrangements for the Piano

I really love this book. I played piano for 9 years when I was a kid and I have recently started getting back into it. This book has pretty arrangements that aren't too hard for me. But if you are intermediate, I think it is a great choice.

This book is a great one for the 'primer'/'beginner' level of piano student. It's great because, as an adult student, I don't want those cheesy kids songs (you know the ones with the cartoons on the pages). The songs in this book are simple enough to master in a few weeks, and sound really really nice. I feel like I'm a brilliant player, because the songs are so well written they make you sound like you've been studying for a lot longer than you have been.

This is my second copy. One of my favourite books of Christmas piano solos. Sweet and peaceful versions of Silent Night, The First Noel, and Still Still Still that I look forward to running through every year on quiet nights

Love this collection. Unusual arrangements that aren't too hard for your early intermediate players. One piece even offers a cross hands position playing - so much fun!

Beautiful arrangements

This book was just what I was looking for! The arrangements of well-known, beloved Christmas songs are challenging and unexpected, but equally delightful to master. My two favorites (so far) are "Silent Night" and "Still, Still Still".

It's okay. Nothing to write home about, but nice arrangements. Not my favorite book for this level ever, but I'm not mad I own it.

The carols in this book are beautifully arranged. I play from it myself every year and give it to many of my pupils as well. I'm really hoping that Dennis Alexander will produce another similar book, with English tunes to carols like "Away in a manger" and "It came upon a midnight clear".
