Solid design that's been proven for decades.
Very heavy duty rails. These are technically for a new generation unisaw for everyone that doesn't know. The hardware comes with the fence body, so if you aren't buying the fence body you won't get the hardware or the support legs as these 2 products are designed to be sold together.

Everything was what I expected and on time. The only thing that would have been nice to know is that it didn't come with any mounting hardware. It disn't even come with a list of what size machine shrews you would need to attach the rail to the angle iron. It's not like it is a small piece you can just take into the hareare store and get a diameter and thread count match

No Hardware or Instructions included
This is a bunch of CRAP! Did not come with required hardware to put it together or mount it to the saw. And no instructions

so finding the metric screws was fun at the hardware store
The front angle iron needs 10 metric screws to attach the other rectangle tube. The package did to include any screws or documentation on milimetric threads, so finding the metric screws was fun at the hardware store.

Great upgrade.
Bought this for an X-5 Unisaw, (2005 model) and expected I would have to make modifications to the new rails / saw top to make it work.Much to my surprise, it bolted right upThe rails are not as heavy as the originals, and the saw top mounting side of the rails are not as tall and where the original rails were trimmed down at each miter slot, the top of these replacement rails are straight, not as tall and are well below the miter slots with no notches necessary.Only the back rail requires notching to clear the 05 model Unisaws rear guard mount. Since I want to be able to move the cabinet saw around, I fabricated an extended "carriage" that when finished, will support the entire extended top as a single unit. I removed the rails in the pic to lift the saw into the carriage, but it gives the idea. I'm adding a router lift in the new wing and will store my planner in the dead space. In hind sight, I could have easily purchased raw materials and made this extension for pennies on the dollar, but, I am very happy with the result.
