Divine Chocolate Bar, 85% Dark Chocolate, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 10)

I eat a lot of chocolate. A LOT. My preference is between 80% and 90% And have tried quite a few in that range. The Divine 85 is probably tied for my favorite with Endangered Species 88 aka The Black Panther. That said, Divine 85 is definitely smoother and The Black Panther has stronger flavor. I will say I think their graphic design is garbage. It reminds of something a 6 year old from the 90s would doodle on a Valentine's Day card.

Delicious! It's one of the most smooth chocolates of the dark dark chocolates. I also like endangered species but it's 88% and probably why it's slightly less smooth than this one. I don't know why people hate the label so much. Doesn't bother me or affect the enjoyment of the chocolate :)

I've been having a small piece every morning for several years. Lately the texture has become grainy, something like fine sand in the mix. I complained directly to Devine but they want to issue a refund. I don't want a refund, I want the problem fixed. This product is from Germany. I want to contact the manufacturer directly as the distributor is of no help.

very smooth. I am a dark chocolate snob so my two gripes are:the bar is way too thick: should be about 1/2 of the thicknessthe acidity is higher than I'd likebut overall it is one of my 3 staple dark chocolates (the other one are Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Bar 85% and the other Yves Thuries 90%)

Too dark for regular eating, imo.

Soapy tasting (to me - but I like broccoli, so my taste buds are tuned a little towards the "bitter is better" side of things).Still, I've had 85% chocolate I could tolerate before and this wasn't it.Not 1 star because I bought quite a few and I gave the untried ones to a neighbor who didn't complain, so I suppose they worked reasonably well as a gift.

This chocolate is great. One would think that the chocolate would be bitter but it isn't. We eat it with pecans, walnuts and or macadamia nuts. Really great!

My Favorite. Very smooth and less bitter than you would think for a chocolate of this percentage. My husband doesn't like dark chocolate but was pleasantly surprised with the taste of this. I also think, for me, that I am very happy with the Nutrition Facts compared to a number of other bars I have tried. And I really like the fact that there is iron in this bar.
