Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants (PC DVD)

This game requires that you either disconnect from the Internet or register for their "online community" before you can play. At no point in the accompanying literature does it explain that you must register anything other than the product key to play the game. A visit to their forums does not reveal how to play without registering for their "online community" nor is there any opt out option given. In other words, you have to hand over your email to play, and if you don't-well no playing for you. I'd like to comment on the game play but having paid money and not being able to play without giving them my email...-I do not see why there is any need to join an "online community" when you don't want to, other than for the company to have your email so you can be bombarded with spam. I would give this game no stars but you can't do that.

won't find out how good it is as I didn't have a product key to launch the game. Since the game cannot be played without it, I am left disappointed. I sent an email about it and I was granted a full refund, which is why I still gave it two stars rather than a solitary one.

The game play is much the same as for earlier versions. I tend to play as a trader attacking only pirates. Gets repetitive very quickly but OK if you didn't pay too much.

Ok, but gets a bit "samey" after a while.

I loved PR 1 & 2 but this is just, well i cant really say without someone complaining about my laungage. Your much better off getting anno 1404 which is so much better and on here at 1/3 the price.  Anno 1404 Gold Edition

Good product would buy from seller again

Is a very good and easy game but sometimes it crashes. Maybe programming mistake because i not the only one who complain about that.

this game is wicked i am going to tell my friends to buy it as loved playing it thanks x
