Not overly perfumery! I have curly, 1/2 grey hair that gets dry, and this is very moisturizing. Offers excellent slip and doesn’t cause other products to flake. I got this, the hair mask, and the shampoo and leave-in. My new favorites!

2023 RevisionI've been natural for 6 years. A few years ago I decided to try this product again and had great success with hair moisture and softness. I believe that this is for two reasons. First, my original order was probably from a bad batch. I never experienced so-so result again like I did originally. Second, when I was a 'new' natural I was transitioning. I had some permed hair and natural hair. The new natural hair was unruly and didn't like many products. This item is definitely one of my current conditioning staples. Along with my homemade mixes (fresh aloe plant & Distilled water for mid week moisture; raw Shea butter mixed with coconut oil & vegetable glycerin).2017 Original 3 starI am a new-ish natural with 4b/4c hair and co-wash frequently with Vo5 Moisture Milks & Giovanni products. I was in search of a deep conditioner. I love Giovanni 50/50 conditioner and the direct leave in conditioner so quickly bought this deep conditioner. My review is as follows:CONS- It didn't moisturize my hair as expected. It made it hard as though proteins are in the ingredients. I had to use Giovanni 50/50 conditioner to soften my hair after using this deep conditioner.- I gave the conditioner to a natural 4c colleague and she didn't like it either. Says it made her hair hard as well.PROS- Product for natural hair- This may work well with textures other than 4b/4c or those seeking hair strength- Arrived as expected- Quality packaging- It's a Giovanni product- The tube is convenient and easy to handleNote 1: I now use Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Conditioner and love it.Note 2: I'm a newish natural because I was wearing a weave for 5 years and have been weave free for 8 months as I learn to nurture the texture.

The scent and lather of this was okay, but overall was annoyed with bottle. Bought this with the matching shampoo and both were oozing out of bottle that third to half product is gone after only using twice?! As a hairstylist I've definitely had better results from other brands. Just wanted to try this out because it checked all ingredient boxes and seemed affordable. I have used their other higher end shampoo/conditioner prior that I would probably go back to.

The product is fine but it makes my hair falling. Can’t return it because this seller has “no return” policy. Now I have to stuck with it. Sucks!

I had been using Giovanni products for a while when they came out with this 2chic line. As with most products I tried (without the harmful chemicals), I still had tangles in my naturally wispy hair that is damaged from coloring. Nothing could beat Paul Mitchell's Detangler but I am very careful about what ingredients I put on my scalp.UNTIL NOW....This line, the 2chic Ultra Moist shampoo, conditioner, and my new favorite, their little pump of leave-in conditioner/styling elixer that doesn't leave your hair greasy but gets tangles out with the smallest amount, are all so awesome.If you have dry, damaged, or easily tangled hair this could be your answer. Try it. I have the tangliest hair on the planet and this stuff- even the shampoo- feels so moisturizing and silky, it reduces tangles and breakage to a point a thought was not possible. I can comb out the tangles in the shower with the conditioner on, and the comb slips right through, making rinsing so much easier. It's making it possible to grow my hair long. It also rinses clean and doesn't leave your hair weighed down. It doesn't have a strong scent either. Did I mention it's sulphate and paraben free?

Wonderful product. I've order different combinations besides the Avocado and Olive and I'm never disappointed. Visible results after use. My hair is healthy, shiny and strengthened. I use it every day! I love this product. First introduced to it at Wholefoods as it is an organic product and fell in love with it ever since. Highly recommend!

I love this conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth. I've been using it in conjunction with the brand's anti-dandruff shampoo (which I'm not a huge fan of when it comes to relieving scalp itch) so I'm sure that also has helped in preventing my hair from drying up.

I have very fine hair and live in a super dry climate (NV) with very hard water. My diet is very healthy, but my hair was starting to feel like straw. I had tried numerous brands and nothing seemed to help. Finally I found and tried this conditioner. This is the best organic conditioner out there. Totally did the trick in just one wash. My hair is now super soft, shiny, and touchable. Very highly recommend.

I am falling in love with the Giovanni range of hair products esp the ones for curly hair. I started off with their hair gel and then moved to the larger hair care range - only to be pleasantly surprised. Without any harmful chemicals, the products offer the end result as committed. And if you have curly, frizzy and dry hair - you know what I mean when we read reviews that don’t necessarily work for us! This product worked well for me - from the first wash - hair seems more moisturised, tamed and easily manageable. In addition - the product smells great. I ordered the complete set from the serum - to the hair mask - shampoo - conditioner and gel. No regrets at all. Give this a try - start with one product and see how your hair responds to it - my hair seems to say thank you!

This can be used in scalp. Makes the hair less frizzy but not too soft. Atleast i didn't face hair fall with this productUpdate After 2years: adding one more star. I have very long hair. Due to high price, I stopped using this for few months and used coconut oil to condition the hair. But I was facing extreme hair fall while detangling my hair, it became rough and unruly. Now am back to this conditioner, in one wash the hair fall is very very less. Extremely happy with the product.

It's a decent and clean conditioner. CG friendly and cheap. Has good slip for my 2b/2c hair. It's not too moisturizing though. Smells amazing!I would recommend this if you are on a budget.

Tolles Produkt, ich finde die Marke Giovanni ganz toll. Habe eine super empfindliche Kopfhaut und kann normale Shampoos aus den drogeriemärkten nicht benutzen, spätestens nach einem Monat fängt meine Kopfhaut zu jucken und wird immer schlimmer bis sie wund ist daher bin ich auf die Linie Giovanni umgestiegen bzw habe es ausgetestet und siehe da kein Wund kratzen mehr, kann die Produkte nur empfehlen wer sehr sehr empfindlich ist. Benutze Givonnai schon sehr lange. Und ist schonend zur Locken :))

It's too thick and oily, too heavy for wavy hair, has an awesome slip, product is good but can give over moistutized hair
