I bought this as a candle for my cardinal candle holders. The rustic look of them went beautifully with the holders. However I had to buy 3 of them. I only needed 1. But it was still so worth it. Beautiful and the perfect size.

I purchased these candles in both red and white. They are certainly among the most beautiful candles I've had in my home. The reason for the <zero> star rating and description as Unusable? Within 20 minutes or so of lighting them, each candle--without exception--formed a notch at the top edge of the candle and began draining hot wax all over my beautiful coffee table (in the process sticking on a photo art book on the tabletop) and on my oriental rug. What a disaster.I later decided that rather than toss them, I'd burn them in a container which would prevent the melting wax from draining onto my furniture. I placed a tall red candle next to a small white candle, and--the red candle pretty quickly started to drain on top of the adjacent white candle, and formed a perfect red "crown" on the white candle. It almost looked like it was designed that way. But, of course, it just further demonstrated that these candles are junk.Don't buy them unless you want ruined possessions or want to burn them in a container that will quickly fill with melting wax.

I ordered these candles primarily for Christmas. When they arrived I was very pleased with the color. They were packaged well. However, one of the candles was chipped on the edges. Initially, I thought it wouldn't matter much, but then I lit them. The burn pattern was not at all what I expected. The wax started dripping down the side so fast, I almost couldn't stop it before it hit my table. This was very unexpected and disappointing. However, if you don't light them and simply use them as a decoration at Christmas time or as a red accent in a room then they are very nice. I think these are a good purchase if you don't plan to light them.I received this product at a discount for my fair and honest review. I have done exactly that.
