RJ - Boy Detective Books 1-8: Fun Short Story Mysteries for Children Ages 9-12

I ordered this set of books as a Christmas gift for our neighbors young boy, who has a mild for of Autism. I ordered the books because he loves mystery books. He has all of the Hardy boys, so in my search I found these, which are mystery books based on the child's age and school grade. These books lets the child help the main character, a child detective solve the mysteries. It comes in a set of 8, short stories so the child doesn't get bored. They are all nicely packaged. I thought they would be great for him, but I've not heard from mom or dad, how or if he liked them so I can't really rate it. I gave it a 5 star based on the package detail, delivery time and that they arrived undamaged. I wish I could give more help but I'm unable to. I'm sure, if you have children that love mysteries these books would fit the bill. Sorry I can't be of more help.

These books are good for about the end of Gr. 2, Gr. 3 readers. I think they catch children’s interest. Children can’t help but Try to guess the outcomes as they read. That is good for predictive reading skills.

My 9 year-old son loves these stories so I suppose they are really good but I haven't read any myself!
