ABSOLUTELY BEST way to keep nosey neighbors guessing which c u are entertaining in your patio.
As much as I might pretend otherwise on the jobsite, I am not a journeyman burlapster, burlapist, burlapper, burlapamist, burlaptician, burlapologist. That being said, I have installed quite a bit of burlap wrap to a myriad of structures and in plethora of places substantially improving the ambience of countless great gigs. While, I imagine, to the senior master burlapster, every burlap has a unique nappynes to its nap, this sburlap seems as strong, durable and effective as most any other. In all relativity, I would rate the thickness and therefore durability of this specific burlap to be between 7 & 8 out of 10 of thickness compared to other burlap I can remember encountering over the decades... I use my rolls to protect light sensitive succulents from being burnt by the sun (unlike our outgoing commander in chief during an eclipse). This burlap has not only done an exceptional job at its task, it has survived dozens of watering sessions where a sprinkler sprays water over the spread burlap for hours at a time every few days for several months now, it has yet to deteriorate, even a bit. I absolutely recommend this, ESPECIALLY, if you can not find it locally, as if you have prime, the free shipping is a MAJOR bonus on about a 50 pound roll. Do not forget how big these things are, the roll is 4 feet long/tall and is approximately 1 foot in diameter.

It works well for wrapping trees for winter.
We had gotten this burlap to wrap trees for winter to keep the deer from them.

Great value for a yard full of bushes.
A great value for all the product you get vs buying smaller rolls. Enough to do a large yard of bushes to protect through winter.

I think it looks nice and hides my landscape fabric
This is very nice burlap! I used it on an area of our yard that had stubborn, out of control weeds. I laid weed block fabric and then hid it with the burlap on top, pinning everything with landscape pins. Then I cut holes where I wanted my seedlings to go. I did encounter a seam midway through- so it’s not a continuous piece, but I was able to get a long enough piece to do the strips I needed. The burlap hole size is small enough, too. I was worried it would be too thin or loose. I also found that it’s forgiving if you make mistakes and need to overlap it. The color of a single layer isn’t that much different than if you need to overlap it. If you look at the picture I took, you can notice the seam lengthwise, but it’s not too obvious. Great product!!

AWESOME BURLAP DEAL
I bought this roll of burlap to make some sound absorbing panels for our broadcast studio. I like burlap because it's a very porous and open fabric, it lets the sound go into the trap and is not very reflective. It also has a rustic look in the studio, I get a lot of compliments and people ask all the time what the fabric is.If you've ever priced grille cloth for audio applications then you know it's very expensive, $15-25 a yard. Sometimes the fabric made for studio use is more decorative than acoustical in nature.Burlap is a nice fibrous material, not reflective at all. In the past I've bought colored burlap at a local fabric store but now that I'm in LA I could not find one convenient so I turned to Amazon. The studio I'm currently building is located in the mountains just east of LA, it's an awesome desert theme out there so the natural burlap color fit right in with the surrounding environment. For safety I soaked it in fire retardant and let it dry completely before wrapping our studio panels with it. I used rough cut cedar boards to compliment the natural burlap color and I'm delighted with the way it's working out.I'm on Amazon Prime and this was delivered right on time, I don't know how they do it, this was a heavy and large roll of fabric. All things considered, this is one of the best deals I've ever gotten off Amazon.

Works great for erosion control. BUT: Grass seems to have a hard time coming up through the burlap and the sun has a hard time getting through the burlap. Where I just spread seed and straw it seems the grass grew much faster,I think because of more light penetration through the straw. But if you are looking for erosion control this is the stuff to buy!!!. All the time and money I put into reworking my yard, where this was used,it really, really helped. Nothing washed away. The rain just ran right over the burlap and my seed stayed where I put it . I laid the burlap down with a 3-4" over-lay then used U shaped stakes I made myself, out of 20gauge stiff wire. About 8-10" long then bent wire into this shape [_] drove them into the ground through the burlap about 8' apart. One complaint is for the price they aught to be able to supply you with the stakes. but then again it takes about 250 stakes per roll. At $.50 a peice (going price around here) thats another $125.00 plus the cost of the burlap roll and shipping . But all around if this is what you need for erosion control, buy this stuff it works great!!!!!

Great price, big, 30 pound roll
As the prior review says, this comes in one big roll. Weighs 30 pounds, in a big heavy plastic bag and packed in a box. The roll is a bit cumbersome to work with given it's size, if you're using it to wrap bushes as we were. We stuck a broom handle through the tube and that helped a bit. Product is bound on one edge, but the other edge unravels quite a bit, more that the small rolls made by Dupont that we've bought at Lowe's before. However, for the equivalent 250 feet, this is 30% cheaper not counting the sales tax I didn't have to pay. And since burlap is biodegradeable, getting one big role in a bag is much better than 10 small rolls in 10 bags :).

What I expected
Used to build a "wall" around some new plants for deer protection. Thick enough to protect but thin enough to let sunlight through.
