I've used inflatable pillows for camping in the past. These pillows exceeded my expectations. They are smaller, lighter and more comfortable. They inflate larger than my old pillows and are shaped to kind of cradle your head. The material is a very soft airtight fabric and is not plasticky or rubbery at all. The valve works as a check valve when you are inflating and you push a button to release and deflate. Very easy to use. When you are done they roll up into a nice bag that is smaller than a soda can. Nothing negative to say. They are just great. I can see using these for both travel and camping.

UPDATED - We had passed the window for refunds, so I hadn't even asked for one. The seller saw my review and send me a personalized note apologizing for the leaking pillows and refunded me our full refund for both pillows. so I'm changing the review from 2 to 3 stars because of customer service. There are still companies with integrity in the world. Thank you Boundary Life, I hope the leaks are just our experience, because otherwise the pillow was comfortable until they leaked.Great for 4 campouts but how has a huge leak and we can’t find the hole. Expensive for so few uses. Bought a second one before the first one started leaking. Both are leaking now. Glad we found out before my scouts were on the trial for 10 days!!

Bought for dirt bike/dual sport camping. pillow seemed comfortable but would slide everywhere. did a dry run when i wasn't moto camping, figured it was the floor i was on. used it with air mattress while on the moto trip just kept slipping out occasionally it would catch friction and be ok. 2 night into the moto trip the one way valve wouldn't slowly leak. think i'll just use compression bag and clothes or jacket. also to low for my big frame on my side. @ 6'3 380

I like that this is easy and fast to inflate, compact when deflated, and easy to adjust the air pressure. But for my head & neck I need something thicker, a little bigger, more breathable, and plush. Also, it tends to slide on my cot very easily. Maybe applying some silicone strips for some grip on the underside would help with this?

This pillow spent 3 weeks on a work trip camping in Africa. Inflate, sleep, deflate. Repeat. It stood up to abuse and kept on working, village after village. Give it a try! Great camping pillow. I will be ordering more as gifts.
