Fresh and clean fragrance and moisturizing
I've been using and enjoying the Aqua Mellis shower gel for a while now and was excited to start using this lotion after my evening shower/bath. I've seen some people say the shower gel in this fragrance smells too "masculine," but I strongly disagree (and I'm super sensitive to masculine/strong smells). In both the shower gel and the body cream, it's very neutral and not overly strong at all. I just feel like it smells fresh and clean. The texture of the cream is glorious. It's nice and thick and buttery and moisturizes really well. It doesn't leave an oily icky feel and just makes my hands soft.Of course, the product is a little pricey for the size of container, but that's to be expected with C.O. Bigelow products and I think they're worth the cost since they're so high-quality!

Buttery soft and love the bergamot! Yay for no rose scent!
This CO Bigelo Bergamot body cream is heaven on my skin. And the scent is so fresh but not overpowering (although, if you don’t like scents that are pretty apparent, then you may not like this—it’s not a barely there scent). The cream is buttery soft, thick, but glides over my skin so beautifully.I wish I could describe this bergamot scent—it’s almost peppery but in a good way, with softer tones. It’s not floral at all, which I really appreciate. I’m so over the floral powdery scents, and am especially OVER the rose-scented products (not a fan of rose). This has a unique scent that I love. However, my one ‘negative’ is the price. At $30, it’s pricey. For a body cream, I’m not sure I could justify that in my budget when there are so many body creams out there at half the price or less that feel just as good and smell just as good.Price is my only negative on this cream. It’s really a beautiful consistency and really freshly and nicely scented. If I ignore the price, this is five stars for me.Thank you for reading my review.

Luxurious Cream That Hydrates So Well & Smells Wonderful-Citrusy, Musky Fragrance Is Strong
This C.O. Bigelow Bergamot body cream feels and smells amazing. I have dry skin, and this is a rich and thick cream that feels soothing and adds ample moisture. It makes my skin feel hydrated and velvety smooth without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. This cream has glycerin, Kukui seed butter, Shea butter, coconut oil, white meadowfoam oil, Shorea butter, olive oil, sodium hyaluronate and more. It also has common chemicals that can be irritants or pose health risks, such as parfum, dimethicone, Bht, phenoxyethanol and so on. Still, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and it’s a cream I use for occasions when fragrance is appropriate. This body cream does have a very strong fragrance. I’m not usually a fan of strong fragrance as it can trigger my allergies and give me headaches, but I enjoy citrus scents and the bergamot scent smells lovely. It’s an uplifting citrus scent that settles into a pretty musky scent after awhile. The scent envelops me when I apply this cream all over, though it mellows after awhile. Still, the scent lingers so it smells like I’m wearing perfume and this cream moisturizes so well that I enjoy this cream without applying it too heavily. This is a hydrating cream that feels luxurious and smells wonderful, so I highly recommend it but only for those who enjoy fragrance. Love it. 5 stars.

Thick and moisturizing cream, but a really strong smell on of the Aqua Mellis scent
I love fancy apothecary style lotions and creams, and was really excited upon reading about the fruity perfume on this one. I expected some summer fruits and watermelon, but unfortunately what I got was a strong perfume smell with just a hint of watermelon. I love the melon part of the fragrance, but the perfume was such an overwhelming fog that it started making me feel a little ill. The worst part is that the watermelon part washed off upon my first handwashing, but the perfume part clung to my skin through numerous scrubbing's and washings with four different types of soap throughout my evening. It finally came off in my shower the next morning. My husband and both children concurred with my feeling that the perfume part was way too strong. Before expressing my own opinion, I held out my hands to let them sniff and my son exclaimed about the watermelon smell, then wrinkled his nose and said but what's that other smell. Which was exactly how I was feeling. The cream itself is delightful, a thick whipped cloud that sunk in easily into my skin and was very effective. I'm giving this four stars because the base cream is great, and there are four fragrances so you may find one that is suited to your tastes. For me, this was an unfortunate miss. I love a number of other CO Bigelow products so I was really disappointed.

Lovely creamy rose fragrance! Great hydration!
I am in love with this body cream! It smells amazing; the fragrance is more of a creamy balanced rose garden scent, I notice the mandarin, cedar, magnolia, pear, and vanilla notes clearly. It's a clean adult fragrance, not like what a teenager would wear, and not overwhelming at all.The hydration is fantastic. This lasts all day, even on my legs which can get very dry during the summer. It definitely makes your skin look nicer and smoother. It is not at all greasy or shiny, nor does it have a white cast when applied. It's great on hands too! It's doesn't get waxy or pill up. It doesn't leave any residue behind at all, even if you are busy working with your hands, you can safely apply this when they get dry and it will not transfer to fabrics. This isn't the biggest jar given the price point, but I will say that this has a lot more stretch to it than most body butters do, so it is a better value than you might think. I would confidently recommend it, as I am very much enjoying it and would absolutely repurchase.
