Base layer for sun protection review
I ordered this shirt to use as a base layer under a short sleeve button up work shirt. I work outdoors and wanted something that wasn't a regular long sleeve cotton shirt because those tend to get loose around the forearms. I've never used compression shirts before and I normally wear large tees. After reading reviews about the sizing running small, I ordered an XL and this thing still felt like a wet suit. Admittedly I'm a little on the heavy side at 210 lbs 5'11". The shirt didn't feel too restricting when worn but when I had to put it on/take it off it I had to wrestle it a little. If I had to buy again I'd step up to a 2x. As for my recommendation as a base layer, I wouldn't recommend it. I wore this thing for 6 hours before taking it off midshift. The reason I got it was to protect my arms from the sun. With it being advertised as moisture wicking and breathable/cool I was instantly sold since I work outdoors. But quite the opposite, I was sweating like a pig with it. Perhaps that's what you want at the gym or while working out but I do not recommend it for a shift at work. I would still recommend it otherwise since the shirt felt fairly robust and didn't feel like it would stretch out over time. There was nothing physically wrong with the product and I was problably using it for unintended purposes.

Great Base Layer Compression Shirt
This Tesla Men's Long Sleeve T-Shirt Baselayer Cool Dry Compression Top is really great. It feels great, looks great & wicks the sweat away well. I’m 5’9” 170lbs, the X-Large is a little big but wearable. I think the Large will fit better, tighter as a compression shirt should be. Some one who is 6’ or there about, would not have any issue w/the length of this shirt. I plan on ordering a couple more in the future & they'll be the Large. I use this shirt as a base layer for MTB & Running. I also wear it for my gym workouts. The white shirt does become a bit “see through” when sweaty, so it’s better used as a base layer. The red does not have this issue. The Large has a much more of a compression fit for me. The sleeves are plenty long & the shirt comes down more than 3 inches (7.5cm) below my belt line. I do not struggle w/removing the shirt, even when sweaty.

Very comfortable, well made.
I'm 6'2" 185lbs. I usually order medium fitting T-shirts, but I ordered a large for this and it fits perfectly. Snug. Very comfortable. Quality feels great. Well made. I plan to wear this under my leather motorcycle jacket to help keep summer-sweat away from the coat. I'm going to order a couple more.

NICE PRODUCT
Purchased this item a few months ago along with the matching pants.Details on me for comparison fit.I’m... (Male) 5’9” / 165lb / waist @ 32” / chest @ 42”One thing I do recommend is pay close attention to the size chart... with my build these items at a medium seem to fit a bit too snug for my taste, but not too uncomfortable because of the stretch. I do recommend anyone with or closely around my body size (+ or - 5 lbs) to order a large for a better fit.I really do like the way this product looks, feels ( the fabric) and how well it’s made. I will definitely order again (in a large), and recommend this product if you’re looking for a good compression suit for workouts or exercise in general. Gets 5 stars from me.

Stretch Marks
This was my second purchase of these Shirts. I really like them with the exception of the stretch marks. The first order I made was for three shirts. All three out of the package were unmarked. As soon as I put the first one on the white stretch marks appeared on my new black shirt. I thought maybe my underarm deodorant had made these marks. Nope...The next new shirt I put on after a shower, nothing but clean, dry skin......Same thing happened.....and then again with the third shirt......After wearing these for a few months and repeated washings, the marks are still there, white as ever, which is distracting on a black shirts. Maybe we should buy white shirts only. I wear these as undershirts now as they look crappy as outer wear. I thought maybe I just got a bad batch, so I ordered a new one last week. Just one, as a test. Out of the bag...pristine looking, no marks of any kind, again out of the shower, clean dry skin.....Stretch marks.....Crap! As much as I like these shirts I will not be buying more. I will look to other makers of similar shirts and hope I have better luck with them! Hope this helps someone.....Dan

Good Compression Shirt
I ordered small size. Fits a tiny bit tighter than expected, but this is not bad and I would not size up to medium for exercise purposes. I have a 36-37 inch chest; usually wear medium tops; occasionally wear small shirts.Have used for judo, kickboxing, running, shaolin kung fu forms, weights, etc.Works well in the heat and in 30ºF. Is quick drying. Comfortable during exercise. I could use this as a base layer for non-exercise outfits, but it may be a bit tight; depends. One minor con: it's difficult to tell which way the front is, until you put it on, especially with the black shirts because there's no tag, no interior print on the back, only an exterior print on the chest, but the print is very hard to see as it is a slightly shiny black colored print.

Horrible smelling - way worse than normal compression clothing
I work out 4-5 times a week, own LOTS of technical fabric clothing, and NOTHING smells anywhere near as bad as this shirt after wearing it for a workout. The smells washes out fine but it’s always rank after a short period of wearing it. Even wearing it for several hours before a workout it will start to smell horrible. I don’t understand why. What’s especially strange is that I own 6-7 other Tesla items and they’re all fantastic. I own a few compression tanks, compression tights, a few pairs of active underwear, and a few pairs of running shorts. None of them have any issues like this. After a few months it’s clear that this issue isn’t going to go away after a few washes so I’ve thrown them in the trash. It’s a shame because everything else about it is great.

Outstanding value for money
Great product. I bought 2 different colours in the Mud (31), model, size XL (great fit for me at 6'2", 14 st 10, waist 34). Tried the Mud (11) but it was a different cut and too tight in the underarm area, but that's a personal preference though so I'd recommend trying both to see which fits you best. These also wash great on warm, haven't shrunk, and fit nicely, offer great support and have plenty of stretch/give.

Good quality
Very good. Cannot complaint for price. I like that the seam stitching is the same colour so can also wear as standard baselayer.Ignore sizing up comments. If you want this is as 2nd skin and / or for trainings, running etc. Get your standard size. I am 38inch chest and medium is fitted but definatley not compression as described

Over pleased with the Skins
Arrived on time, good and comfortable material feel when wearing. A bit tight fitting for my liking so order a size bigger.
