So far, so good. The whole mount is made of plastic, so I don't expect it to be very strong, but for a few indoor shots (Christmas photos, etc) it should be okay. Holds the iPad nice and tight, and does what I need it to, but don't expect to travel with this thing....of course if you were going to get some serious usage out of a mount like this, I doubt you are looking at a $7 one. If you are looking for something to hold your iPad for the occasional family picture, then this should do just fine.

This mount is made of sturdy plastic. The tightening screw secures the mount to grip tightly. I have an iPad Air 2, and because of the tablet's dimensions, the mount must be used with landscape orientation for the tablet. This is not a showstopper for me, and I am happy with the purchase.

Can't really use this. The bottom mount is for a camera tripod. Need it to be more durable for a music stand. Also have to take the tablet out of its protective shell to fit. It's that age old lesson, cheap is cheap. Basically just more lan fill.

Good product. It holds both size iPads tightly and is easy to snug by pressing the arms together before twisting the screw that holds everything in place. I was not surprised at the plastic for the price but was surprised at how sturdy these are for being all plastic. On a tripod these are very good but I will never use these in motion, such as mounting an iPad to a moving vehicle.

Seems sturdy and works well with my mini tripod. I use this for my galaxy tab e. I am lead tech for my church. I mount the tablet in this holder on my mini tripod. Then i am able to keep track of viewers for our livestream.
