We don't suggest using a dry erase pen.

The thickness is 1/2 the thickness of a credit card. We suggest using a fine tip sharpie to write on this material.

Q: how many years will these tags last when used outdoors exposed to the elements and UV?

These tags are heavy grade 15pt vinyl and the punch hole is reinforced with a brass eyelet. They will be as high quality as you can find, and should last decades. Even when used outdoors exposed to the elements. There will be color fading over time with constant UV exposure but it would take years to notice.

Q: can someone please post an actual photo of the fluorescent green tag?

The Fluorescent Green color do not show up well by picture or in a browser. Search "PANTONE 802 C" on google this will show you the exact color
