Great temporary filling for molars
I needed to temporarily fill a chipped molar as I couldn’t go to the dentists during lockdown. It took a while to get hold of this product but it was worth the wait. Fairly easy to use but it takes a while to set and before it does you get a white paste on whatever you touch it with. Best to just leave alone for at least 3 hours when it starts to firm up. It then set hard overnight and is still going strong several days later (and counting). I’m guessing it will be fine until restrictions are lifted but I have plenty more in the pack if I need to redo the repair (although it is a small amount you hardly need any to fill the tooth).Update: the filling crumbled and fell out after 2 weeks so I had to redo it.

Cavities in the time of Corona
Having lost two fillings at the start of lockdown and after it was lifted, my dentist not deeming me 'bad' enough to give an appointment to yet, this seemed my only hope. Overall I'm pleased with it; the incisor whose filling had dropped out has stayed firmly filled with this stuff. Good result. The back molar whose onlay has disappeared, and which is in a very poor state, has to have this stuff pressed on every couple of days. But it's a LOT better than nothing as I feel happier when that jagged ruin of a tooth is smooth again, albeit for a few days only. The amount you get is about the size of a rubber at the end of a pencil so I'm onto my third pot already - sigh. But overall, worth having and what other options are there right now?

Easy to apply
I always keep this product in my handbag as I have a few fillings which often chip and I absolutely hate the dentist. It definitely does the job, however it needs reapplying every few days. Great for what it is, a temporary solution until you can get to or pluck up the courage to visit the dentist!

Well worth it
A large filling came out of my tooth and with not being able to get to a dentist with a world wide pandemic this was my only option, none of my local chemists had any so I got it from amazon it was over a week ETA but waiting was the only option I had I was so relieved when it turned up 3 days later (thank you Amazon) I was a little sceptical that it would work but for a temporary filling it did the job perfectly, it lasted about 5 days and although not ideal I have had to use it again until I get to a dentist, I think you could probably get it cheaper but as of terms of value ...you can't put a price on something like this when you need it 👍

TEMPORARY...! But OK. Used it to backfill a crack in a molar.
Used to BACKFILL a Molar when a crack formed. There is a large filling in my back molar. Part of the tooth came away leaving a gap between the big filling and the side of the tooth. I managed to use this to fill the gap, like a wall crack filler. If you push it down into a crack it seems to last longer. But I also had a side crack and the fix does not last longer than 2 days. I sometimes use it to fill that second crack to stop my tongue running over it. I really need to go to the dentist but COVID is an issue at the mo, Use this to last a few days

Not the best, look elsewhere
I really did try, but this is useless stuff, I lost a big old filling right at the start of lockdown and was unable to get a dentist.I have tried several temporary filling kits so far, none last more that a few days, but this one lasted a few hours at best.I applied it last tbing at night, it is tricky to get into the cavity as it sticks to everything but the tooth, once in and smoothed i retired to bed and woke up with a smooth filling, unfortunately any food wears it away quicker than a government policy back track. So by midday i have a big hole again this has happened for three days now and i have had enough and requested a refund. The best temp filling i have found is Toofypeg, smaller pack but lasts longer than half a day.

Only lasts a few hours at best use only if you plan see a dentist within 24 hrs
My dentist recconnded this product as I have a broken molar crown , the product is easy to apply but takes a long time to start to set , even then it lasts a few hours then crumbles away and tastes pretty awful , as I'm desperate its the only thing that gives me temporary relief from pain but it doesn't last long enough, expect to reapply after eating or drinking and throughout the day , I wont be using it again , chewing gum is cheaper and about as effective

So far stayed in place
Like so many I was left part way through a root filling and crown process. My dentist drilled a deep hole through my crown with intention of root filling. He couldn’t reach the root canal so patched the crown with a temporary filling and an appointment to return the following week. Lockdown happened I’ve been waiting since 17th March. Temp filling cane out the following week leaving a hole that got bigger and bigger until last week the crown became compromised as well. I was advised by his nurse to get a temp filling myself as I can’t see him until Mid July. I put this Dentek in four days ago. So far it hasn’t shifted although I’m careful about eating - it’s my lower right back molar. I’d recommend as an emergency fix
