I am super happy with these Columbia hiking shoes! I have good hiking boots and was looking for hiking shoe as an alternative. This pair totally fit the bill. First of all, it was comfortable in a 7 wide, which is my normal size in a boot. Roomy enough for a thick sock. Right of out of the box, I wore it on a wooded one mile hike with no discomfort at all, and have worn it on several more hikes with no problems. It seems like a very well-made shoe, with a thick grippy sole, a protected front, a padded tongue, and all the other features you’d like to see on a hiker. You can trip on a root in these shoes and your feet will be protected.Second of all, it looks great. The pebble brown is a very traditional hiking color, with contrasting laces. The laces aren’t too long or too short. I haven’t worn it in wet conditions but it seems quite waterproof. The weight of the shoe is reasonable, a little heavy for packing but you need some heft for a decent boot. This is not a sneaker posing as a hiking shoe, but a real hiker that you can wear on the trail.

These are very nice hiking shoes, very comfty, they fit true to size, BUT I ordered the brown and the colors look darker in the pic than they are...they are brown but it's kinda a graphite brown, kinda dusty looking brown, lighter than expected. Still a nice shoe!

In my search for walking shoes wear to Europe on cobblestone roads and uneven terrain I came across these shoes. They are comfortable, supportive, non slip and gripped the wet uneven pavements. I tried very many walking shoes and brands and none of them provided the support and comfort like these shoes. It did take approximately 2 weeks of wearing them at home to break them in a bit. I also placed gel inserts into the heel to provide more support on the uneven terrain and they worked great. I am a minimalist packer and needed to wear these shoes in flight as they are very heavy and would take up lots of room in my carry on. I would definitely purchase these again.

I like the look of these hiking shoes as I usually go with a different brand and decided to check these out instead. These were comfortable out of the box and fit true to size. They have good arch support and don’t slide on the heel. Another bonus, they don’t look clunky. I’ve worn them several time and they appear to be very durable and given the price point, that’s a huge bonus. Also, the gray is cute and goes with a lot as it’s neutral.

Got this to help with walking, I have issues with my heels and heard they are very comfortable. Im not so sure about comfort, they are alittle hard to break in to feel great on your feet, I always wanted to try Columbia Brand shoes. Im not so sure if I would ever want to buy another pair. Its made very durable, and great material , looks nice, but just not comfortable wearing, for $90. its not worth it.

I rarely wear size wide shoes, but these were way too tight. Ended up going up one size, too. Haven’t tried them in the rain yet but they definitely appear to be waterproof. These shoes look stylish and the traction looks perfect.

I wore these on a trip to Alaska without breaking them in first. They were pretty comfortable. No blisters. Wore them with Merino Wool socks & they were much more comfortable than I expected. I didn’t do any heavy duty hiking but they kept my feet warm & dry walking through puddles & mud. Not as light weight as sneakers but not too heavy a shoe. I was happy with this model shoe

Comfortable on all surfaces, rugged trails to fields to pavement. Good support. Removable insole lets me use orthotics. And a bonus - they look good!

I like how comfortable these stayed wearing them all day everyday camping. They were good in the boat and the couple times my toes slipped in the water there was no moisture in the shoe.Plus they look really nice with the purple colour and style.Was a good purchase as usual with Columbia products 😊
