For the price, I expected some fairly disposable pants that were comfortable enough for a hike and also something I wouldn't have to worry about getting destroyed from a rugged hike. Not only were they very comfortable, but they were light, shed water and after a downpour dried very fast. While hiking there were thorns that didn't scratch or 'get' me because they slipped across the fabric. It would be nice to be able to cinch the pant bottom if needed.
