Saved my life.
I mistakenly gave this review to another leash that did not work well. I will try to change that.I have an 8 month old beagle and major health issues. Walking her was a challenge that my health could not take. I went through many leashes then found this one. It’s perfect. She responds to training tugs well. She is my ADA service animal most of the time so when I need to be walked, it’s easy with this leash. Plus I can give Presley extra length to be a hunting dog and me to dance and enjoy life. Thank you

Nice sturdy leash
I really like the leash. The only issue I have is that if I don't have it wrapped around my hand and the dog pulls really hard or is excited to meet a friend, it easily slips through my hand. It's hard to get a firm grip on the rope section.

Good leash.
What more can I say? Amazon wants to know if its chew proof. I have yet to have a dog that chews on things much less their leash but that's just me.

Very Durable - Handle is big
The colors and durability of the leash are great! I was looking for a leash that I could use for small or large dog as I am a dog walker and this is a perfect leash to have on hand as a backup. My only issue was the handle is very large... and I have larger hands. Even though it's large, the handle is cushiony so it's not horrible, but definitely something to note.

Safe!
This leash has a large soft handle. It is so easy to hold and makes me feel safer in controlling my puppy. The other type leashes are just too hard to hold on to - they’re easy to slip out of your hand. I love this! Bought one for both dogs

High quality and looks just as pictured
This is a high quality leash perfect for what I was looking for. Highly recommend. My dog had major surgery and I needed to keep her on a short leash on our walks for the first 2 weeks and this was perfect.

Leash is sturdy but plastic cover keeps separating
The leash has a good thickness and the cushioned handle is comfortable when walking my 18 lbs dog but the plastic cover keeps separating and falling off. I’ve had to repeatedly snap it back on to the leash.

Comfrey leash for my little boy
My little boy weighs 10 LBS but is an inveterate “tugger!”. At only 10ths you would think this wouldn’t be a problem, but walking can be a trial. While I believe a no tug harness is a myth, this leash redeems the issue by making it easier to hold him. At least it makes it easier for us to walk, given my arthritic hands.

A lead for Tubbs The Third.
My teenage Bull Lurcher occasionally starts mouthing and pulling on the lead if he gets frustrated. It only lasts for a couple of seconds but he has teeth like a guillotine!Previously leads have been damaged in seconds. I got fed up replacing the same brand. So, I did a bit of research and BAAPET had a good name for more durable leads. He's grabbed onto it a few times and not left a mark on it. I'm not saying it's chew proof, I'm sure he could destroy it if left unchecked. Bulls pride themselves in destroying the indestructible. But while you're training your dog not to chew on the lead, by distraction with treats or whatever? This is up to the job imo.Its well made, I can't see any shoddy workmanship or cheap inferior parts. The rope is thick but flexible and as I say, has been between his back teeth and come out unscathed. The clip is big and robust with a good strong spring, first thing that I checked.Handle is comfortable, sleeved with soft padding.Joins look well secure and fixed with hard plastic guards.I chose orange to compliment his dark Brindle coat. It's loud! But I like it.Update. I've bought 2 more while at a cheaper price. If I don't need them I'll pass them on. I have faith in this lead.

Great leash, but….
This Leash is awesome, our husky, who loves to pull his walker along, has learned to properly walk with this leash. It’s strong and easy to hold her. BUT the black paint on the clasp comes off on her. She is stark white & the side where the leash sits, she has a black shadow. I can’t get it off. The groomer does with industrial whitening shampoo. So as long as your dog isn’t white, you’re good to go with this awesome leash 🐶!

Strong, sturdy, slippery leash.
I ordered this leash to replace a blue one I bought at PetSmart, which has gone missing. I mostly just have my Rottweiler wear his green collar these days anyway, and wanted a leash to match.Had another Rottweiler run up to us today, and try to start a fight. Thankfully, the leash proved itself when pulling my boy away from the other and his owner (when the man got to us). However, it slid through my hands and gave me rope burn on both hands. Not sure if the blue one I had was just "broken in," a vastly different material, or I just never pulled on it as hard as I pulled on my new one today, but it did not do that. The grip on the loop is a bit thick and gave me hand fatigue, but that was the only part that did not slip around in my grasp.Despite our incident today, I would still recommend this leash and I will continue to use it. Hoping my hands adjust to the thickness of the grip.

Handle tears easiliy, piece came off first day
Just doesn't hold ip. Sorry! But it's true, a piece broke off first time out, we used black hockey tape to cover the rope. It didn't render it useless, but that's not the point.A few months in, and the comfortable soft handle is ripped, and in a large section

The appearance is not all.
Greetings,Some laugh at me when I use this leach for MarcoPolo, my cat. But when a German-Shepperd attacked us, I had my catin my arms and I swing my five feet leach to the dog saying to sit in a loud voice, giving the master of the dog the timeto realize and react and to tame his dog. The dog wanted to play It was obvious, but try to convince your cat. Fromthat moment on, what I hear is "what a nice cat you have, what race is it", funny, not to my cat who know I can protecthim.Kind Regards
