Great for the shower
Great for the shower and with the use of a handheld shower.

Heavy duty shower chair.
This shower chair was perfect for my needs. It extends outside the tub to aid getting in and out of the shower. It worked well because I used a hand held shower. A regular shower head would make a mess because 2 of the legs extend outside the tub. The backrest is reversible.

I am pretty sure 300 is the limit
Depending where your commode is this might take up quite a bit of the tub. It takes up quite a bit on the side. At least to someone large.Speaking of large. I am pretty sure 300 is the limit. I am about 250 and while it is sturdy if I was about 50# more I might not be as confident. My dad put it together for me in about 20 minutes. So I would say assembly is a snap. Speaking of snap I am not sure my dad had many if any tools. All in all was great way to get back to my home. I have been alone and having to recover at the parents. This was the way to get back to my home.Update it has been a few weeks. I don't have rust like other people have complained on similar models. I fount the pamphlet and it doesn't require tools for assembly and it has a year limited warranty. Earned that last star. 😉

Safe chair. Unsafe metal pieces and shavings.
The chair works okay. It fits our extra deep tub which I was concerned about. But the bag all the pieces were in also included a bunch of these sharp circle punch out pieces from the tubing. And a lot of metal shavings too. I had to pick several of them out of my hand. I have to vacuum and inspect my carpet to make sure our pets won't find any of these and get hurt. You'd think a well known brand would take better precautions when it comes to safety. Especially considering the type of product.

Best investment ever!!!!!
Very happy with this shower chair. Very easy to put together. Took my dad about 15 minutes and that was without instructions. I recently broke my right ankle and both lower bones. I currently have on a splint that won’t come off for 2-3 weeks. It has suction cups on the feet to help stabilize the chair. I was able to sit on the chair outside of the tub and move over to get inside the tub without an issues. The chair has a handle that sits inside the tub to assist you in scooting yourself in the tub. My father installed a 8 foot new extension to the shower head making it easy to shower with. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has issues of getting in and out of the bath tub😊

Impressive
Love it. I was a little nervous that it wasn't sturdy but once you start sitting on it it firms right up.

Works Great for My Dad!
My 92-year old dad moved in with us, and he cannot step in and out of a bathtub. What I really like about this is that you can put the handle on either end, and the height of the legs is adjustable. The suction cups on the legs work phenomenally well. I have my dad sit on the edge of the chair, then I help him lift his legs into the tub. He then uses the arm handle to scoot himself over. I was initially concerned that water would come onto the floor since part of the chair is outside of the tub, but it hasn't been a problem at all. I am able to wrap the shower curtain around, hand my father the shower nozzle, and he has his privacy. When his shower is done, I help him scoot to the outside, and he dries himself off while still sitting. It's a great item and I highly recommend it!

Excellent- exactly what we needed
This is an excellent product. My husband got injured at work and couldn't put weight on his right leg, and we have a bathtub-shower, so he had to step over the wall of the tub to get in, making him stand on his bad leg. He's twice my size so I am unable to support him.The pain was so bad he nearly passed out, so we had to have a solution, and this works perfectly. Its a life saver for him, he can shower at will without pain. Its stable and secure, even for his size (over 300 pounds, 6 foot 3inches) and even I find it helpful to wash my feet & legs when I'm showering.
