After reading several reviews and seeing all of the stars, I gave this soap a try. Full disclosure - I am not bearded so my reasons for trying this product may not gel with your beard cleaning goals. I was looking for a natural daily driver to clean and moisturize all of my body parts. So I tossed aside my usual soap, which I will disclose later, and gave this soap the main job for a week. First impressions...the smell was too subtle and the bar was too small, way too small for the price. So after trying the soap for a week, I can say that the performance was average and nothing special. It did perform well as a shampoo which is certainly good news for the target beard audience. So I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a good, natural all around soap for men. I can't and won't speak for it's performance as a beard soap. For bare skin, it is certainly lacking in the moisture department so dry skin men beware. I would give it a second chance if it was cheaper but at $10 a bar the cost is too steep for what you get. I tried to like it but it just fell short of my expectations. I will stick to my shea butter and African black soaps. They provide better all around performance with the added moisture that most men need.

Shipping was fast, neatly packaged. It smells great as the bar and creates plenty of suds, however the scent of the pine in this soap doesn't last long on you at all. It lasts long inside of the shower itself, but not on your skin. It's there for a moment but then it is gone after just a moment stepping out of the shower. It might be hard to make it so the pine scent stays on meanwhile making sure the soap is organic and all natural but even real scent from an actual pine cone sticks on your hand for quite a while. I hope they are able to develop this soap in a way that its scent can last a lot longer, especially after you step out of the shower.

Pros:* The smell is pleasant and super orangey.* Has oatmeal husks as an exfoliant instead of plastic microbeads.* Seems to moisturize pretty well, but not enough that I can skip additional moisturizers.Cons:* $10 for a single bar of soap is a lot. You can get similar products for $3-5 per bar.Also, I'm not entirely sure what all the reviewers (who received this at a discount) are talking about when they say it's got some kind of ultra lather. It's soap, and it acts like any other soap I've ever used.

This beard and body bar is my number one product. I use the eucalyptus and mint soap and it's truly out of this world. Let me also say that I've gone through many natural soaps including Dr. Bronners, Soap For Sinners, and other organic bars. This is easily the best. I even use it as a shaving soap to shape up my beard every morning. I finish my shower off with the eucalyptus and mint beard oil which is also use on my beard as well as face and neck. It's a great facial oil.I can't say enough about this company. Microbrands such as Sophisticated Beardsman are really customer focused and that's why I stand behind them and their products.

I have used a few different beard soaps and this one stands well among them. I wish the scent was more of a wood scent but the soap doesbt dry me out or strip the natural oils. Not the best soap ever but a great one for the price.

This is without a doubt the best soap I have ever used. This soap lathers excellently and is a great soap for your whole body, including beards. It leaves skin with that nice clean feeling that you only get from higher quality soaps like this one. And it leaves your beard clean, soft and doesn't dry out your face surprisingly. Both the original and exfoliating bar work great, and they smell great too but aren't overbearing. I've bought this soap before and will continue to keep using it because its exactly what I want from a beard soap!

Lathers great, seems like it will last a very long time even with daily use. Smell is strong in bar form, but did not leave my face or beard smelling similar to bar (unfortunately.) Did not have that eucalyptus/tea tree tingle that you expect and look for from a eucalyptus or tea tree shampoo. This is why I did not give 5 stars. Seems like it has more of the essential oil to give the bar a scent but not the active ingredients that do the work. Will probably try something different next time.

After using this soap, I can say that this is a great product. First, the scent is great. Second, the soap lathers well and feels gentle on the skin. The moisturizing aspect is better than most other soaps. At first, the price seemed a little much, but I think the high-quality ingredients along with the larger size and density (compared to most soaps I have used) justify the expense. I would recommend this to anyone.I will also point out that the product was delivered before the expected date. Special thanks.
