WOW! I did not expect this AT ALL...
Let me start off by saying that I have only taken time out of my day to write one other review, so know that it had to be something special to pull me from my many projects to do this.I have been looking for a dark grey petg filament for a while to replace an overpriced one that I have been using for a while now. I got this expecting something similar that may get close to the previous filament with the expectation of lesser performance. When I opened the package, which was done very well and thoroughly sealed, I actually exclaimed out loud, "Holy &*@%!". This stuff is gunmetal, not just dark grey(it actually says "Silver" on the label)! I told my wife(this is her amazon account) that if this stuff prints worth a ham that it would be my main go to filament from now on and my second favorite filament period in petg as far as appearance(my first being esun's trans blue, COBALT THE WORLD!). I anxiously awaited the first print expecting it to not turn out superb as I havent had a chance to dial in any settings for it. Low and behold it came out AMAZEBALLS and now I am hooked. It did so well that I had no reservations in making the second print with it a 4 hour print that is running .3 mm layers at 72 mm/sec and I am confident it will go faster and still be smooth. I havent been this excited about a filament in a long time.So this morning I decided I was going to come back on amazon and buy another 3 rolls.... and there are none :( Since this is the first that Ive heard of StrongHero and I am not sure if they are just testing the market or what, but to whoever is in charge there:- For the love of all that is good in this world, please keep making this filament! I love you long time! Seriously, dont get a guy hooked on filament crack and then just take it away. I'm not suited to living under a bridge asking passerby's if they've got any spare StrongHero Dark Grey/Silver Petg.

Color inconsistent, arrived wet, otherwise OK I guess.
A few months ago I ordered two spools of Stronghero3D's PETG, and I really liked it. I got one black, one dark grey. They both printed well, and I really liked the dark grey, it was almost a "gunmetal" color and looked nice. I just ordered another roll, and what arrived this time is definitely a lighter color, a light silvery gray. It's also wet, the picture is a bit extruded from my printer, that's what it looks like coming out of of the nozzle. The clear bag seemed like it was sealed to me, but without much vacuum inside. Just kinda loose. I'll dry it overnight and see if it prints OK, but right now it's not really usable, it's terribly stringy and the parts are very weak. The filament is almost "foamy" coming out of the nozzle and leaving air bubbles all in the print. I've dealt with wet PETG in the past, but not this bad straight out of the package... lol

Works Great after some tweaking of the settings.
So far, I like this filament. This is my first time using Stronghero3D PETG filament. It was a little stringy, but after a few tweaks, I was able to get a really nice strong print with these settings.Prusa i3 MK2/S printer.2mm layer height240 C nozzle temp75 C bed temp60 mm/s speed30 mm/s wall speedCooling turned down to 50%Retraction 1.5mm at 35mm/snozzle lift 1.2 mm per retractionI used glue stick on the heated PEI bed, but I imagine hair spray would do the trick, too.I print directly from a dry box, because this filament absorbs ambient moisture.

Nerf Gun Orange
Update: 19FEB2019My first order of gray looked great, a nice gun metal gray. Unfortunately, the second roll of gray I purchased was much lighter and almost translucent. I am very disappointed in the color of it. You can seen the difference in the pictures. The smaller piece being the newer roll. Please bring back the darker color! This was my first purchase of PETG. I wanted to give it a try. I purchased the Stronghero3D 3D Printing PETG Filaments 1.75mm Net Weight 1KG Accuracy +/-0.05mm (Orange). It feed easily into my Ender 3. After several changes in my slicer software (see other comments for better settings), it worked very well. The organ color matches pretty close to my Nerf guns. If I were to rate the filament color "flat", "satin" or "glossy", I would say it has a "satin" finish. Over all I like this product and I ordered a second spool of gray as well.

Poor quality control
I received the filament in a timely fashion. The vacuum seal was good. But right away, I noticed the filament was tangled. I spent some time unwinding the knot. I start printing at 238/75. Everything looks good. 2 hours later, printing in midair. At first I thought it was tangled again. But instead, I discovered that it was stuck in the Capricorn tube. I broke out the micrometer and had a range of 1.65 to 1.87mm diameter of the filament. So I cut off what I could and try again. Hopefully. That was the worse of it. Right now, I do not have the best confident in the filament.Update: another printing in mid air. Again, the filament was stuck in the Capricorn tube. So, i packed everything up and return the item. I opted for another spool of the same filament to try again. So, lets see if the 2nd spool is better.

My first crack at PETG
I want make some RC bodies and did not want to mess with ABS! So I bought another brand PETG but I started with Stronghero3D 3D Printing PETG. Worked really great on some test test prints. So I printed a body for a friends 1/14 Tamiya Chassis. It was about seven days of printing around the clock but it got done. My friend used a rotary tool get down some of the ruff spots then prime sand prime sand and painted.
