I bought this product because I needed a padding for my finger during crochet activities. The yarn will dig into my skin and it hurts quite bad. I like that this product came in long tube and I can cut it to any length as needed. The first time I tried it, the inside lining of the tube is very soft and thick. I also like that the material stay put around my finger instead of running around. Once I slip it on my finger, it stays put and allows me to crochet for hours at a time nonstop. After a while my finger get tired even with the padding, however, it is in much better shape compare to do the activity for hours at a time without this cushion. I didn't try it on my toes at all, so I can't speak for that aspect. If you are looking for a product that will fit like glove around your finger, and do a great job at staying put, this is the product you have been waiting for. Also, I usually flip the edge inside out for a good measure (the yarn ran around my finger, so flipping the edge creating a border where the yarn stays).

They worked OK, but there were only 3 in the package, so they didn't last long.

I have an injury to my ring finger on my left hand that can not be fixed with surgery or occupational therapy - basically my finger will be bent at the pip joint for the rest of my life - I bought these because I am experimenting with different products to find something that will help alleviate the pain in my finger and provide some support/stability. I was sick of wearing the hard splints and finger buddy's I was given. I just wanted something that would protect my finger so that I can get on with my life. These are very comfy but my only wish is they came in a smaller size for a more snug fit, i realize they are designed more for toes than fingers. I like that they are a flesh color and the gel cushioning on the inside of the tube feels very nice on my painful joint. Will likely order more in the future after I wear them for a while.

no support........worthless product

I bought this to see if it would help with the pain/tenderness I have at the base of my thumb. I received it today and this is by far, the best product I've found. I'm very, very happy!! It fits snug without being tight, is very thin so no bulk to interfere with most activities and is very comfortable after wearing for several hours now. Am able to pull it down so it covers the bony part at the base of my thumb and it stays put.The package came with 2 sizes. The smaller one fit my thumb (I have small hands) and you cut it to size. After cutting, I will have two more "spares" left. The material is stretchy so I imagine this package should fit most. Inside of material is a very nice gel which provides the protection. After cutting, the material does not appear like it will start to ravel either.....so cool!Anyhow, so far so great! BTW I did NOT receive anything for this review (hate those).

I do a lot of work with my hands and bought these to help prevent calluses and for protection. They are wonderful, but pricey. You only get two sleeves, and depending on what finger/thumb you want these for, you may only get exactly what is pictured - a sleeve for a couple of fingers. As I do pretty rigorous work, they won't last me very long and I can't spend $10 a pop every couple of weeks. I've only worn them twice, and the material is freying at the ends. So, it depends. They are very comfortable, snug and definitely do the trick. If your work won't be "abusing" them the way mine will, I would definitely recommend them.

They are as described. I tried them and didn't work for me. Cumbersome on computer keyboard, One was to tight and the other to big. Will give them another try in winter which I hope they will keep my inflammation and stiffness in arthritic fingers away. Worth a try.
