First off these are extremely bright and wonderful. I bought the white light version of these and I am not disappointed at all. While I have used them for makeshift flashlights using power bricks, I have not used them for extended of time. The ones I have used provide plenty of light, even more than the emergency flashlight I do have. While the LEDs do get a little warm I have never experienced anything to cause concern. If I were to need to use them for an extended period, I would want to make sure they were properly installed away from anything flammable just to be safe. I have used them with portable power bricks, emergency power stations, and even playing ordinary cell phone adapters. On the cell phone adapters, the only issue I discovered was they take a half second to light up which I thought was strange. On the portable power supplies and power stations they work immediately. If you're looking for cheap versatile LED USB lights, look no further.

It works but runs pretty hot. At 5 volts it draws between .4 an .43 amps, so that is between 2 and 2.15 watts. You can feel when the temperature is higher than our body temperature and pain starts at about 120 degrees so this light is between 110 and 125. It does not have a good cooling pathway for that wattage. I wish I knew the lumen output. In the end they work but I would not purchase again, just not right for me.

These units are so handy. I love in a r+real area where losing power. I put one of these LED lights in a small backup battery, and I get about 12 hrs of bright light to hett us through.The units shipped in a nice metal box (with a little window) and wrapped in bubble wrap. They shipped and arrived as promised. Would recommend and would buy here again.

I have them available for power outages to plug into the numerous power banks I own. plug and go as I said very bright unknown how long they will last that state 10,000 hrs all 8 work good they do not seem to get overly hot or flicker in any way

Perfect for emergency lighting using any USB outlet. I’m using them with power banks during storms when we lose power. Also one in the car using a female end USB cord to direct the light where needed. Very handy.

I added these to my 3D printer and they're the perfect size to fit on the aluminium bars. Now my printer looks like a miniature construction gantry 😄

These would be a good device for a very short time period requirement. Maybe 5 minutes to 10 minutes maximum time. Example A10,000 Mah rechargeable battery lasted only a couple of hours with this attached. So if these are connected to a permanent device for an emergency make sure you have the ability to turn them on and off. I would not recommend grabbing these with your hand if they have been on for more than 10 min. You may get a burn.

For 20$, it does a great job, doesn't get too hot and shine very bright. I am using it for homemade 3D printed lithophane lamps and it's perfect. Very good price.

Hook this usb plugable light stick into any powerbank with usb output and you have a flashlight that will outshine and outlast any normal flashlight! The only caveat is that if run for a long time they do become somewhat hot to the touch, so be careful.

These seem not to draw very much, the small battery I tested them with lasted all night.
