Wonderful book
This book is wonderful. The pictures in it are amazing! There is so much depth to the pictures that they could stand alone without any written story. It shows the train passing through many different places. The story is kind of so-so but it’s rhyming and does pull the pictures all together. Highly recommend this book. Every child that has seen it has loved it and the pictures keep it interesting for the adult reader.

Finally, a decent book about trains
My grand daughter is obsessed with trains (Thomas, Percy, and all things Sodor) but not so interested in reading. She'll listen to me read this book and react to what's going on. I love the warm illustrations.

the perfect bedtime story for train lovers
Lyrical poetry, lovely locomotives...the perfect bedtime story for train lovers! All aboard for Rosenbaum's rhythmic overview of trains of all kinds. Along with Gil's stunning illustrations, this book is sure to lull your little one to sleep (well, after you read it again & again & again). A must read!

Loved it!
Great rhythm and rhyme makes this so fun to read. Features everything to love about trains, from bridges ("trains are not afraid of heights"--love that) to interesting cargo. The illustrated glossary in the back is a wonderful bonus.
