I never write bad reviews but this leaves me no choice. Good luck connecting an external microphone to this particular camera. No 3.5mm Jack! This is due to it not being an American Canon model, it does not feature that ability. Wish I knew that prior to purchasing. Shame on the seller for not revealing it. I’d rate it lower if I could.

This camera is very nice!!!! I have never owned a professional camera. It's true what they say this Canon is beginner friendly. Each setting gives a full explanation of its use. I found that very helpful. All the accessories are of great quality and also easy to use. I plan on taking many pictures with this camera to give my iphone a break lol. Pictures comes out very clear and professional. I will edit this and post more pictures as I take them. As you can see the camera captured every piece of dust left on my table from my brothers hookah prior to the picture. Great buy!

Good beginners camera, easy to put together, hard to find the instruction manual online, a hard copy manual should be included. Takes good photos, I haven’t had a chance to upload them to my computer because of the reasons listed earlier. Over all good quality set.

I think this camera is perfect for beginners like me. I’m still learning but I love it so far. I can take better pictures of butterflies now. I wanted to mention the company I ordered this camera from, my camera came in three days early and the camera and equipment was neatly packed.Thank you!

This is a replacement for another company's product which wore out. Since I had a Canon 50D which is heavy I decided to go with this Canon. The entire package was an excellent purchase and the camera along with the included lens is a very nice weight. It is a mirror camera like the older SLR's but that's a nit. The pictures are crisp, the autofocus is fast and storing the pictures is equally as fast. The bonus is that my other Canon lenses fit this camera

If you're a beginner I recommend this camera as it's easy to use and self-explanatory. I would also recommend buying two replacement batteries if you'll be doing photography full-time or just spending your entire day out taking pictures.

Bought this camera as a gift for my husband who's recently taking a liking to photography. It comes with a how to guide, if you don't read through it, it may be more tough to operate but otherwise its a very nice camera!

The image and video quality are both fantastic, the display on the camera however does not do the images justice. As after downloading images off the camera, there'll be no noise in the image and everything is crisp whereas on the display, the image quality is lower and much more noise is visible although this is a very minor complaint. Another tiny issue I have with the camera is that there's no port to plug in external microphones. Aside from those two things, this camera is excellent. Good battery life, good weight, excellent image quality and everything you could ever hope to change from the ISO, to the f stops, to the image size both in dimension and in storage space, as well as a neat function to connect your phone directly with the camera over bluetooth. Allowing you to download photos without removing the memory card and to take photos and change settings remotely. All in all, great camera kit, worth the price, would buy again in a heartbeat
