Eaglemoss... so sad to see you go.
I am a huge Star Trek fan and a fan of these Eaglemoss starship models. The detail on this Starfleet Academy Training Ship (the type flown by the infamous "Red Squad") model is so good. This was a one off ship used in a single episode of TNG "The First Duty". I'm sure you all know the episode I'm talking about by now.Most companies wouldn't bother making a "Deep Dive" model like this but, Ben Robinson and the folks at Eaglemoss are Star Trek fans and in turn made ships the fans wanted to own. Good on them for taking risks like that.I have many of the XL starship models which I prefer but, they do not in any way detract from how impressive looking the smaller models are. Even the rarely seen underside of the ships is finished with fine detail.I am very happy to have gotten my hands on a few of the many ships and variations of ships Eaglemoss has made over the years no to mention the Starship "Reference Library" full of Ben Robinson's incredibly informative and visually stunning books I am so proud to own.I know prices have soared, with many of these models only being available on the secondary market,but seeing them in person makes all the difference. I for one am definitely NOT disappointed!
