They do a superb job and not the first set I have bought so when needed come back for more and often gift them to sons and son in law. They are what they are a good set of centering drills which I use for carpentry and also for metal work. One of sons is a turner so recommends them highly.

Had these since early December only got to use them early January. Smallest drill snapped on 1st use, due to the area around the grub screw not fitting snugly around the drill and as you tighten the grub screw it allows the drill to bend then snap. The overall quality is sub standard as they are mass produced down to a price point. Unfortunately the market is full of rubbish in from China. Shame the UK can't produce its own enginered product. If I had used them sooner I'd of sent them back

Good for a couple of uses, not the greatest quality.

These are good center. Hole drill bits that work great for my husband's needs. I wish I bought them sooner with all of the hinges he had done. It really does put the hole in the exact center so there’s no miss alignment. These are time savers!

Quality was so low that I had to return it.I did a test on softwood and a the first hole, the spring lost all its resistance, when I attempted to drill the second hole it was as using a normal drill bit.The bits have very little bevel, that make them more suitable for centring large hardware. I tested it on a gate tee hinge and any of the bits seemed too large to properly centre it. I definitely think it was because of the bevel (I bought a set from Bosch and you can definitely tell the difference!)Incredibly, the smallest bit is the worst of all as it has almost no bevel at all, so, unless you need to drill in the centre of a hole of the exact size of the bit, it's actually better to centre it manually instead than with this tool.

I haven't used them regularly as yet but I will be building some cabinets with doors this weekend so they'll get a right good run out and I will let u know more about them afterwards. They were cheap and cheerful & my 1st ever set of these so I have nothing to gauge them off but after a good usage I will re review them for u guys.. Salute Amazon and the good ppl reading this. U cannot go wrong for the price point I think anyways..I will also be hanging a new back garage door this weekend too so they'll get a run at that as well so standby folks..If they're crap I will say so but they seem like decent value so far.
