6142 Black Louvered V-Gate Tailgate for Ford F-250/350 HD

I installed the tailgate according to the instructions provided. They were pretty vague in places. The tailgate was difficult to close as the pawls that grab the tailgate latch pins did not completely surround the pin as shown in directions. I was finally able to get the pawls to fully engage but now the tailgate will not open. I DO NOT recommend this item
