Super, Natural Christians: How We Should Love Nature

a different look and touch of nature
With this book, the fourth, Sallie McFague brings her organic or ecological model to a practical conclusion. Our care for nature should start with our look (loving) and continue with our touch. She convincingly argues for a change from a subject/object to a subject/subjects mindset. This is not an apocalyptic doomsayer oracle but a hands-on advice on how we should love nature. There is hope for the future but it will take work. This is an excellent book, worthy of your time but be warned - you will want to go out and dirty your hands with the earth's soil.

Super, Natural Christians: How We Should Love Nature
Excellent, easy to read view of how nature is very important to Christians. Sally gives a good overview of how nature has been looked at in the past and how it needs to be regarded now and into the future.

Every Christian should own a copy
Sallie McFague has done a good work --- looking deeply into question of Christian's approach to the Environment. With global climate crisis, the ocean crisis, and water crisis, this book is timely, and its well worked through theology is refreshing. She give us all new ways to think about Christians response. Why not extend the love of Jesus to the natural world on which all our life depends, and all the animals, plants, and creatures of this world? Yes, Why not!
