Very easy to peel off the protective paper. Easy to install in soil of plants. The stickiness lasts for weeks. The strength of the stickiness is great for catching flies, gnats and other flyers and crawlers that might be in the soil or on your plant. To keep the fungus gnats population down to a bare minimum to none at all these sticky traps are well worth the buy. They were even a cute design. And when you’re ready to throw them away just pull up and toss in the trash. Simple and easy but very effective product.

Twice now I have gotten potting soil that was infected with gnats. They were everywhere. The last time was the worst. I had bought these after the first infection and they worked great. I had to buy them again and even bought some for the friend that I gave a plant I had potted with the infected soil not knowing it was infected. Of course you also have to take other measures to kill the larvae when the eggs hatch but these are great to catch the ones who do hatch.

First off I was very skeptical that this item would catch knats much less than anything else. When I water my plants I do see knats from time to time but they’re not swarming by any means. Anyway I thought I’d place an order and see how they worked. I ordered the bright yellow because I know bugs are attracted to bright colors. What I was really hoping to catch mosquitos because as many times as they’ve taken chunks out of me, I should weigh close to nothing! I placed a couple in my plants but had a great idea to stick some in the corners of my windows. We have a boxer dog and no doggie door so we have to let her in/out all day and no matter how quick you are, mosquitos & flies always get into the house and this year they’ve been bad. These are not gooey like fly paper but stick like packing tape and there is no mess involved. You just peel the paper off and place where you want. I stuck them on the window frame, not on the actual window in the windows that the flies gravitate to. OMGOSH, I couldn’t believe the number of flies that it attracted and were stuck to the paper. I hate to admit, it made my heart happy, like super happy! The ones I had placed in my plants had a couple of knats on them within a few days. Overall I’m very pleased with this product, works great, price is great, products does what it says, I would buy again and highly recommend to others.

These really trapped all those little fungus gnats in my plants- only a few days and it was full of them. My only suggestion is the base is tricky to get into soil unless it’s super soft. Would be nice if it had a sturdier base to stick in. Cute design with the butterflies.

I am fighting fungal gnats that somehow got in my house. Did you know that each gnat can lay 400 eggs a day?!?! I find these are quite sticky so make sure to keep them away from leaves or anything you DON"T want them to stick to. They are attracting a lot of the lil buggers. I'd share a photo but it is gross, they work THAT WELL.

Easy to put in with the included cute tiny shovel to help! They are larger than expected, cut them in half for smaller plants. Seem to work well although no gnats yet (less than 24hours so far).I hope the root gnats die a slow agonizing death!

The media could not be loaded.  My skepticism was high for the first couple months that I used these. I would watch larger fruit flies or fungus gnats hop on and off with ease. What I didn’t understand was that these were slowly wearing away the bugs defenses. As you can see in the images, they are strong enough to catch moths, and my flying pest problem has been eradicated between using these everywhere along with using predatory worms. These work and I still have enough to last me for a whole new round of misadventures for the next time fungus gnats invade . Thank you!

Earlier in 2023, I purchased a bag of dirt from a reputable nursery. I've purchsed the same product in the past. This time, the bag contained fungus gnats. They seemed to be everywhere and a horrible nusence, flying around my face whenever I sat down. These sticky gnat traps worked wonders. There were more than enough in the package for me to place one in each of my plant pots. In some of the pots which I had recently transplanted with the infested dirt, I couldn't believe the number of gnats that began to coat the sticky traps. These yellow sticky gnat traps WORK. Heartily endorse.

Compre dos tipos de trampas cromáticas, unas rectangulares para mi huerto y estas. Este tipo de trampa me gusta para usarla en la cocina para los molestos mosquitos de fruta, se pegan bastante bien, incluso 1 vez cayó una mosca y no se pudo liberar, el pegamento es lo suficientemente bueno, aunque no tan poderoso como para que, si por error lo tocas, te lastime. Definitivamente volvería a comprarlas.

I ordered the 96 pack but only received 12 traps. Very disappointing.

We purchased these for our indoor gardens, as we were suffering from fungas knats; these have been a life saver to our plants & actually catch TONS of them. I was skeptical at first, but they really do work!
