I bought a bunch of different sea creature treads from SlipX and followed the instructions closely. (You really have to scrub your tub and make sure to wipe down with rubbing alcohol as well.) The sharks and lobsters are still clingy and holding up well after almost 2 years, and numerous baths and showers. The puffer fish and octopus both came off after a month or two. Stick to the sharks and lobsters!

Interestingly enough, I did not purchase these "tub tattoos" to keep me from slipping in the shower. I have noticed that Apple Laptops, while being sleek and stylish, are also made from the slickest substance known to man. I can not count the number of times I have fumbled my laptop out of its case, almost dropped it when trying to put it back in its case, or had it very nearly slide off onto the floor whenever I set it down on a smooth surface such as a table with a cloth on it. (Or, I admit it, my bed) After having to replace my power jack and sound card from a nasty fall that crunched the plug into the side of my computer, I went looking for something that would give my hands some gripping power. I found silicone covers that were expensive and so rubbery that they stretched out of place and also prevented me from sliding my laptop into the case all together. Aurgh! Searching Amazon in frustration I stumbled upon Tub Tattoos. They seemed like the perfect solution. I could place grip where I needed it and still be able to put my machine in its case. Sure, they're giant red lobsters, but I think they're kind of neato and make my laptop very easy to spot in class or a dorm room that's a proverbial bushel of Apples. Plus, I've found that they are very easy to remove and reposition without leaving a gooey mess of sticky stuff behind. Thanks Tub Tattoos, your adorable grippy powers assure I'll never smash up my expensive computer equipment again!

I will review this item giving information on reasons why I wanted this item, delivery time, pros and cons, and whether I would recommend this to a friend and why/not.I purchased these bath tub tattoes because I wanted to cover some stains I have on my bathtubThe delivery time was excellent. I was offered a one day shipping, which is always great (I have Amazon prime)The pros: these appliques are very cute. I needed something appealing for bath time for my 1 year old baby girl and also something safe and easy to apply. These appliques look great and satisfied my expectations. I recommend you do a deep cleaning in the bath the first, clean the area with alcohol, then present how you would like them (I used 3 packages, that is: 15 lobsters) and then peel them and put them on.Cons: I haven't found any cons yet.I would certainly recommend this to a friend. They are super cute!

These are really cute. In September, I ordered the lobsters, the sharks and the frogs and placed them at the bottom of a bathtub used only for showers by adults and one small dog. They look really cute in the bathtub & have worked well to prevent slipping. They also fascinate the dog. :) It is the end of January and about six of them have begun to peel up. I haven't had to deal pulling up a bath mat or fighting mold, they haven't stained or started to even begin to look grungy, they are as fresh and cute as the day I applied them. I will be ordering replacements for the ones that peeled (clownfish this time) and will continue to do so. I recommend the tub tattoos, but be prepared to replace a few as the months go on.

I love these. They were a little smaller than I thought but work just fine. I washed the tub real good & prepped it with alcohol & stuck these down & let them sit for at least 8 hours like they say to & I haven't had any problems with them at all & we've had them for a couple of months now. We have the ducks, fish, lobster, sharks, & frogs. I started out with just 3 packets but there were still some bare spots on the bottom of the tub that my daughter's behind kept slipping on so I ordered 2 more packets & it works great. My 17 month old daughter loves them & is always pointing at them trying to say what they are. I decided to go with these because we weren't always good at remembering to take the bathtub mat up so it got all mildewy & gross so these were a great solution!!

These little tub tattoos are wonderful! I purchased 3 sets (ducks, fish, & lobsters) for our standard-size bathtub, and that seems to be the right amount. I spaced them evenly along the bottom of the tub, with room on one side of the tub to accommodate the faucet (since my son isn't walking around under the faucet) and room on the other side because his bath toy basket is hanging there. Despite my "Sit on your bottom! Sit on your bottom!" pleas, he does get up and walk around the tub from time to time, but he has NEVER slipped since I installed these tub tattoos. I also really like that they don't get moldy / mildewy and there's no space underneath them for yuckiness to collect. I'd definitely recommend these for any child's bathtub!

With two very young kids in the tub, we needed something to help protect them for slipping and sliding. I followed the cleaning instructions and the tub tattoos were very easy to apply (removing the sticker backing was a little difficult on some, but not horrible and I was able to remove all paper completely). They work well and are really cute in the tub. Like many other reviewers mentioned, you really need at least two packages of the tattoos (we mixed with frogs). My kids get a kick out of them and so far they seem to be stuck on the tub floor really well. I would buy them again if we ever moved, or if I get to finally remodel my bathroom!

These are awesome for your tub when it comes to fighting slipping- just be sure you want them on there permanently. I put these on our apartment tub because it was too slippery for our little one and ended up paying 200+$ to get the tub reglazed because when I tried to take them off after about 6 mos, they ripped off the glaze off of the tub. They definitely have suction power I’ll give them that but only use if you own the tub!
